Looking the goods Scotty, heaps better than my busted arse piece of crap!
Do we know how many are riding Friday arvo?
Is there a list?
Moral to the story, “clean and protect your shaft”
Overhaul the PTO, sharpen the rippers, top the tyres up with water, etc
See attached link

You smashed the rest of the course and stuffed up one of the easiest obstacles :silly:
Pity we have to wait until next year for the next race.
Nope
Its better with the sound of the bike and the swearing, grunting, huffing and puffing, that made me laugh. The gay symphony is a nice touch though, it matches your riding style.
Bob wrote:Lc had to race with the wipper snappers all weekend but held his own and managed to be the fastest of our group in all events (not sure about endurox)?, not by much though
9 seconds for the grass track for the day and a bit on the enduro…………………………………But I reckon I can round him up 👿 ( I have a chest infection and it was hampering my ability a little  )I was secretly worried that you would have faster times then me on the grass track
, after the podium finish and all the accolades
But you didn’t

Awesome event.
Loved the EnduroX, I started walking around it but I was psyching myself out so I decided to just attack it and see what happens. It didn’t help that it was my first event for the day and the 3 stooges (Bob, Mal, Timmy) were watching and laughing at me. On the practice lap I had a massive near over the bars moment in the tractor tyres and I didn’t jump the loading ramp at the end (pussy). In my 3 race laps I didn’t stack or stall once and jumped the loading ramp everytime except when there was someone laying down there with a broken wrist. 3rd in class, but no medals for that event.
Cross Country course was fast and dusty, had 2 relatively good offs twisting my bars up but luckily there was a tree near by both times so I could bash them straight. Off camber corners suck balls. 2hrs is a long time!
Grass track was heaps of fun once the first couple of corner carnage died down and you could see through the dust. Got to practice my starts too.
It seems the rougher and more technical the course the better I go, did my best in EnduroX, pretty good in the cross country, and not too bad in the grass track.
I wish I was an old bastard (over35) then I could have knocked Bob off the podium. Even though we weren’t racing each other there is plenty of bench racing over the time sheets, if we were racing each other we would probably both go better or both kill ourselves!
Thanks heaps to Mal and Donna for putting us up for the night and Timmy for some pro tips about the grass track racing and a beer at the end to wash the dust down. I have gone out in sympathy for you Tim, I was hobbling around all day at work with a bung knee.

Report after 1st ride on the 350 – AWESOME!
bike is great i loved it, suits the way I ride perfectly.
I can’t wait for another opportunity to go for another ride on it
Probably won’t ride it again this year – too hot, but bring on Feb / march
I guess I’ll need a hat, t shirt, beanie etc in orange…….. or white and silver
Thanks for all the advice on setting it up and choosing the best bike in the first place!
Hope to see you out there……….What???? 1 ride and you’re going to pack it in until next year?
Don’t be silly man, get out there and sweat it out.
:woohoo:
No its the only one thats not a pansy 250
After Friday night with Menace drinking Jager and Tequila you better sign up for the adventure cruise Mick
my fix isn’t really that dodgey, no worse then using aluminium shims and best of all its cheap, I get the feeler gauge for free
I have been sussing out the Penrite range of oils for a while now, I wouldn’t put the diesel 15 in my bike because if you shop around you can get the fully synthetic motorcycle specific (MC4ST) or Racing 10 for a good price. But in a lower performance kids bike I would say go for it.
If you are a member of DBW do a search for Penrite there is heaps of info and experience from blokes that have been running it in their bikes for ages.
moto wrote:It would hurt to ask a bearing shop what bearings they can get in. The KTM?Berg use a fairly stock size bearing so I wouldn’t be surprised if you can get a new bearing with slightly larger OD that will only require a quick machining of the hub. It won’t cost much and is fairly straight forward to do. As TB suggested, if you go to a place with a big enough lathe they can do it with the wheel in tact.Shimming is a fuck around and will have you buying a feeler guage set everytime you do wheel bearings
Do it properly you tight arsed bastard!!
NO!
On a side note if anyone needs a front wheel pulled off and put back on I’m your man, I’ve had that f#@ker on and off a thousand times today   👿
