    Thanks everyone for their ideas.

I just fixed it, all I needed was a few hours at work to think about it, luckily I get plenty of time to sit around and think at work

Bob gave me the idea of going to the bearing shop and getting some shimming steel, but my thinking came up with using pieces of feeler gauges, so I cut up a feeler gauge (0.10mm), all it took was 3 pieces jammed in between the bearing and hub and its tight as a nuns nasty :)

If it flogs out again I’ll just use more pieces of feeler gauge or some thicker gauge. Pretty bodgy but bodgy is my middle name. ;)

Good idea Trailraider, didn’t even think about the Loctite bearing retainer, I’ll try that before I do anything else.

Not sure machining it out would be a good idea or even doable, they have a large bearing and there is not much meat on the hub to machine away, only about 4 – 5 mm thick.

I guess I will have to take it to pieces and get a machine shop to check it out.

Probably be easier and almost cheaper to buy some second hand or new wheels.

It wouldn’t matter if there was the entire Erzberg course to ride through we would still make it back to the Eskys!

I’m of a suspicion that the 50 sx might be too tall for you also

Looks like they don’t make the senior/junior/adventure anymore.

I did my first bit of filming with the goggle camera and added a little bit of commentary but not too much, you run the risk of sounding like a dick head if you overdo it :P There was heaps of puffing in panting in my vids especially when I get to the top of hills.

I just use any old ‘dot 4’ stuff or whatever the manual suggests and change it once a year. Hydraulic clutch fluid once a year too if you have one. (Its not brake fluid, its a special clutch fluid)

My Bro Green450 isn’t on the list, he is riding Saturday only and probably getting pissed on Saturday night at the auction/party.

Ask Ev, he is Old Bulls resident Barkbuster crash test pilot. :cheer: Think he even gets the alloy bit from the wreckers because he goes through so many of them

I like Barkbusters but I always seem to strip the allen key bolt out on the end of the handlebars, trying to get them tight enough that they don’t move when I crash.

I like Pirelli XC mid softs, heaps good grip but the side knobs break off easy in rocky terrain. Dunlop MX51, nearly as much grip and sides knobs hang in a bit better in the rocks.

Moto, what are the tyres you have that are no good for your mousses? I’ll take them off your hands for nothing ;)
