I know the top guys usually have a team mate, that is not necessarily a slow rider, and if the top dog on the team needs some parts or help the 2nd bloke just gives him the parts off his bike or helps him out and the top dog is back on the road.

I could ride my KTM 625 pretty fast in the single track, I ride my 450 Berg a bit faster, but the Berg is easier and more fun.
