There is no effing way a 2003 model YZ handles better then a brand new enduro 4 stroke or 2 stroke of any make or capacity.
So what happened to the Berg Aido (King of the Mods)???

I think MX bikes are a fair bit cheaper to buy either new or second hand and then get the lights set up.
He wasnt a mate of mine just a bloke I met whilst riding, but I think to set up a head light and a tail light on a MX bike shouldnt cost too much.
I love the last corner near the camera when he kind of turns before the jump, lands sideways and just boots it straight through the corner.
Whoops in a car are pretty cool too.
jimbo wrote:After reading some of the comments on this subject a lot of people are missing the point. To my understanding of the Rec Rego system in Vic, it is to aid people that want ride dirt bikes only for pleasure not to commute and as State and Federal parks and forests are classed as public land and come under the same road rules as any public road. The concept is that you don’t have to have full rego if you only ride on weekends etc; ergo the bike should be able to be rego-ed as normal with the exception of a few item not required for bush riding RH mirror, blinkers etc; this reduces the cost of rego by about 75%, the cost is the same for a 50cc or a 1200cc it doesn’t matter as long as the bike is ADR compliant.
To my knowledge MX and pit bikes etc; are not ADR compliant and therefor should only be ridden on private property. I hope that if NSW gov brings in a rec rego system it is similar to Vic but I truly don’t think it happen as I think the gov will make that complicated it want be worth while. Any how good luck to all as living in Mexico does have some advantages even if you don’t live the Melbourne area.
JimboYou are wrong about MX bikes, I was ridng in VIC a couple of months ago with a bloke on a brand new KTM 350 MX bike and the shop he bought it from put a head light and tail light on it for him and he was good to go with Rec Rego
There are heaps of guys with 250 2 stroke MX bikes with Rec Rego, they love the light weight.
They have run out of body bags in Japan after the tsunami so they are putting the dead into bottles
You get 22 nips in a bottle
Hey I’m young compared to you Aido
If I can drink 20 schooners for the fallen diggers, all the Old Bulls should be able too (or at least try)
I’ll be doing the dawn service at Woonona RSL

Just curious as it seems odd to me that a 14,000+ machine would overheat.. Is the manufacturer really designing for a race type situation like a4d, safari etc?Cheers…
There is no problem with the bikes or radiator design the rider just has to go faster in the tight stuff (just like an enduro racer would) creating more ariflow, they are after all enduro race machines not trail bikes
I will beg to differ LC4, they are not fit for purpose in this regard, as the race ones used in the extreme enduros have modded cooling systems for just this reason, and they are sold with ADR compliance, so obviously not closed course comp only…
I realise the extreme enduro guys need modified cooling systems, but for racing in the A4DE and Off road series (normal enduros) the standard cooling system should be fine.
