(for those that dont know the NX’s have a paper filter and yesterday’s fog did it no favours.) Tb said that they rode right through the guts of Canberra past Gov House and that the corner man system works better in the bush than the city. They should have roosted the lawn at parliament house
No diff in rego price.
I will be contemplating the same thing when I get a new bike, you should check out the Husabergs too.
If you are racing Finke a long rake would be better (more stability at high speed), if your racing singles a shorter rake will make it turn in easier.
Its an XR/XL 250 I don’t think the handling v rake angle is gonna worry him too much.

micknmeld wrote:I just noticed after the weekend that my rear disc on the XR is getting scalloped and wearing the pads unevenly as well. Thinking about replacing the disc soon. Hatto, is yours a KTM disc or an aftermarket one ?? If so what brand?I got a solid rear disc from Ballards for my bike, when riding in wet and muddy conditions it doesn’t wear pads as fast as a slotted one because mud and shit can’t get caught up in the slots.

Do you still have the little metal clips that keep the pads straight in the calipers?
I lost mine and now the top of the pads wear quicker than the bottom, hence the pads don’t last very long at all, probably not too good for the rotor either
