What happens on tour stays on tour Scotty
Some of these teams have 5 or 6 riders, pussys!
Bring back Mouse going solo, still hammering it even when delirious.
There is a hill at Hampton (no idea whats its called) that me Bob and Green450 got stuck on. I got about 3/4 of the way on my own then the other 2 came and helped me push, then we pushed Bobs bike from about half way up it was getting dark so we left Green450s bike in the bushes (brand new KLX450 1st ride). I doubled him back about 15k on dirt and 15k on road to the pub.
Doubled him back in the morning and decided to try and ride it out the other way, it looked hard coming down but he rode it out of there with only a couple of little pushes from me and Bob.
The hill was long and just kept getting steeper and with bigger looser rocks the further you went up. It took us about 2 hrs to go 500m.
No pictures sorry
I thought the trials tyre was a bit of a weird choice too
A lot of the riding in this link is single track but these blokes still manage to get a 4wd down there.
I should have put a smilie face at the end of that sentence.
Im just geeing him up, I know he loves Suttos and uses them most times.
But if I can save by buying overseas Im going to do it, the local bike shops need to make money and I need to save money. I buy alot of stuff online from overseas.
At the risk of sounding like a prick (which I am) im not going to lose sleep worrying about bike shops going broke, they all seem to have plenty of money to build bigger and better showrooms.
Alot of peole are saying that the stock in store has to be sold before new stock can be imported with the good dollar value, this is bullshit because the fuel companies whack the prices up and down every day when oil prices change. They don’t wait until they sell all of their fuel at the original oil price they purchased it at.
And I just read up TBs post about the Tenere and he seems to have sourced a fair bit of gear for it from overseas. Hypocrite.
