Yeah Eags, there isn’t much room on the 640 to fit a damper, but BRP and Scotts have done a nice job with the kit

As previously mentioned I have purchased a BRP (Billet Racing Products) top triple clamp and Scotts steering damper kit for my KTM 640. I have had the kit for around a week and installed it today replacing the standard top triple clamp.
STD Top Triple Clamp and bar position
Top Triple Clamp removed and Pin installed
BRP Triple Clamp and Scotts Damper Installed
All i need to do is ride it and see how it goes. The Scotts damper has both High and Low speed dampening. You can also adjust how far it will dampen from centre. :huh: It will be interesting to road test and I will report on this later.
