Great photo’s and memories of the Ride and people that we met. It was great to see every one have a good time and to get all those scrapers out there with minimal break downs was awesome. It was a great cause and also a big thank you to all the support crews driving along towing trailers and picking up the pieces when needed.

LeftyGot home safe after 2250km. Thanks to the organisers and TB for leading a great ride. It was a big effort to get the scrapers such a long distance in two days as safely as possible. Thanks also to Mick and Charlie for sweeping day two it gave me a chance to lead with TB which was bloody awesome and I had a ball! Thanks mate. :woohoo:

Well I have just finished the prep for being a sweep for the 2013 Scrapheap Adv Ride. I changed the springs on the 640 today after the guy who i bought it off had it sprung for a 120kg rider as I am only 68kg I thought that I would bring it back to std specs for a 75kg rider. I then got my boys to help me with the sag measurements. Fitted Michelin UHD Tubes as well as rim locks and balanced the wheels. Regreased the front caliper brake pins as they were a bit sticky. Packed the bash plate boxes with tools, tubes bolts and bits ‘n’ pieces for the trip. Wheel bearings and cush drive rubbers are new. Revised the final drive gearing with a new front and rear sprocket combo. Test Ride and all good for launch. Ordered Wolfman bags, two weeks ago, but it doesn’t seem that they will be here in time

Yeah I’m going to try to head out to OFB. I will be on my 640, but same as you no firm plans…… Where are you heading from/to? I will be leaving from Blaxland/Blue Mountains also and have recently purchased the 640 and would like to do some adv rides work permitting.

LeftyYeah it is a nice machine TB. It was good to see it in the flesh when you rode it up to the workshop tonight. Some stuff was already swapped over, the racks, pipes and pegs. As I said to you earlier you are like a dog with two dicks with a new toy

Have a look at the KLIM range at Adventure Moto. There are many different types and prices but they are the ducks guts IMO! I wear the Dakar pant but they are not waterproof. I think the Traverse are though.Cheers,

It has definately been great though to meet so many different people from all over the place with similar interests. And thanks to everyone for some bloody great times, help and laughs on the trails and off.
