I got the head away today and I am hopefull that it can be welded. The head will also be serviced with new valve stem oil seals, valves and seats cut if required and then surface ground. I am now just waiting on the piston and gasket kit so I can get it bored and honed.
As for the lack of low down torque bones compression is a good start, however I never rode the bike so I can’t really comment. That particular model has relatively low compression standard at only 9.2:1 Hopefully I can get the comp a little higher to give it a little more bottom end. The other thing that this model has is a dual throat carburettor with a vacuum secondary which may require a service also.Cheers,
LeftyGreat stuff King Bol, bloody awesome!
Hail the King!!!!!
I also got up there only to find that the ride had been cancelled.
But seeing that I had a leave pass for the weekend I decided to go for a ride anyway
And bugger me I ran into a few mates and we decided to go for a great ride.
It was bloody awesome :woohoo: Great blokes, great trails how good does it get. Weather was a bit damp but s#$& happens. Thanks to the guys that helped me up one of the last hills, you know who you are, and sorry to one particular bloke (Crash) who i roosted the crap out of and then proceeded to knock him off his bike while he was minding his own business   Sorry mate, I think I owe you a beer or ten.
Cheers,
LeftyHail the new KING BOLLOCKS!!
Hey Mick,
Glad to here that all is well and it is all sorted. The problem is that many of us don’t like doctors or going to see about something like that as we all think (Me included) that it will not happen to me. As I am now over 40 and have never had any of the checks done I am now seriously thinking about going fo the FULL check up and maybe TUNE UP if required.
Thanks for the reminder mate. I will look into this next week.Cheers Lefty
Shit Teza very unlucky. Keep your chin up mate. Lucky you had phone service champ
Take care and hope to see you back out on the trail one day soon.Cheers,

The terrain will be grade 3 with a fair bit of fire trail, a few hill challenges but will be aimed at the less experienced riders that want to try a bit more technical stuff. I’ll ask the more experienced riders in this group to help, encourage and offer advice to the less experienced riders so that they enjoy the ride as well. And my group will be riding off at a more respectable time of 9am ish. There is still frost at 10am around here.
Medogrocket’s group will be the more experienced riders that don’t want to do Galey’s ‘hills of death’ ride. He will use some of the same tracks from my loop and Galey’s loop and throw some other good stuff in as well. As he said he will be winging it most of the way but he does know his way around. He also knows the snotty stuff that Galey will be using and avoid it like the plague (maybe).
You can choose which rider you would like to follow on the day, pm me or you can ride on your own if that’s your thing.
The first post will be updated as well.
Mal have you organised sweeps, I’d be happy to sweep either of your rides and take some photos too.
I’d be happy to sweep for you too Mal if you need another.
Cheers,
LeftyThanks guys.
I have a couple of top sweeps organised. But I will ask any of the experienced riders tohelp out through the pack.
Chris you can be the photographer only if you wear a pink vest.
Lefty you will be a great mid pack sweep, riders will think they are being coached by a 14 year old. Good stuff mate, it will be good to have you on one of my rides.
Pink is fine Mal and I’ll bring the high heels for lefty.
No worries Mal, sounds good to me!
Hey Chris thanks for the heels champ! I think I will need them.

Uprated coil-over suspension for those hard hits
2WD go any where drive ability
Plenty of lighting for those times that you don’t quite make your destination before dusk
STAR performanceSo what do you think mate? Isn’t she a little Ripper?
No front brakes though, Sorry. You can’t have everything eh!Cheers,
LeftyThis looks perfect for the OBT Birthday adventure ride. Do the pub lunch, ride back to camp and then when you drank too much of Menaces teqilia, ate too much of Kram’s packed lunch and said yes once too often to Gotchya’s moonshine you could just pass out in the back and ride home the next day without actually even getting out of bed!
