Yes I would mhave to agree with TB. Although there is another good reason to run an exhaust bung, especially if you have say 3 bikes on one trailer and one is put on backwards so bars don’t clash etc. All the air, water dust etc when travelling will enter your pipe (on the one facing backwards) and if you exh valves are open this crap has the potential to enter your engine, with the possibility of causing damage.

So, do the motocross cams come with a ‘Lowered Wokka Wokka Fooly Sic Hiace van with 20inch rims, a backwards cap and a restriction of only doing 2 laps before stopping for a sit down at the van and a ciggy?

LeftyI finally got to ride the rebuilt 450 today. :woohoo: I had to do some final valve clearance adjustments as the head was ported and the seats were machined so I needed a couple of shims a few thou smaller to regain my valve clearance.
Well it has made all the difference, I only put 20km on it but the 450 is now really responsive and sharp in its power delivery and this is with the adventure gearing 14/45! I cant wait to get back on the trails with the normal lower gearing for the singles.
I have also ordered the upgraded oil pump gears and oil pump drive shaft, which is for peace of mind reliability.Let’s Ride!!!!!!

Hi Maso,
Before you spend your hard earned cash, check that the Staintune is sealed properly to the header pipe. As air entering this joint as you back off can cause the back firing that you are hearing.
Cheers,
