I am sure that is written somewhere in the mechanics code handbook.
Hi Steve,
I build alot of Race and Rally engines for various customers with great results. I worked for Neal Bates Motorsport for 9 years building and developing all of his Rally Engines. I don’t actually do the machining here; however I have my preferred machinists who I trust with all of my Engine components to ensure that I get the specs that I ask for.

Well I left my House on Sunday at about 5am, It rained constant from when I left to when I arrived home!
At the half way mark at the pub, I had water around my neck, where my Leatte pulled the jacket down a little! But it was minimal!
When I got home, the jacket was fairly drenched as for me inside, i was close to the same state as when I left the pub! And it rained harder on the way home!!!
To say I’m happy with the jacket would be an understatement!!! And the pants they are no different to the jacket when it comes to keeping dry!!!
Traveling at higher speeds in the cold the Klim gear was tops! No wind found it’s way into the jacket and I was warm,( even without grip heaters working)!!
In the tighter stuff where it got abit warmer, I open up two vents on the side of the jacket and was happy with the amount of cooling it added but still remained at a comfortable temperature!!!
You get what you pay for!!! It is great gear, will recommended it and Steve at adventure moto to anyone who is interested in it!!!!Dejay
Good report Dejay!
Maybe I should have had some KLIM gear when I went for a swim at a, slippery as a bucket of Gorrilla Snot, causway on our previous ADV ride from Hill End.

Hey Gents!!!!! What a great ride eh! 700km in 2 days, starting at 1pm Saturday we did around 230km then restarting at around 7am Sunday and covering another 470km.
We started at TB’s meeting up with the Motley Crew! TB, Deejay, Krusty, Gaz, Boulder and Myself. We slabbed it up to Mt Victoria and then it all started :woohoo: Now you should have seen Deejay! Talk about adventure poor old mate was getting a little too close to nature, and took a little too much of my advice on board, when in doubt power out! But holy crap the DR went left, right then left again, just missing the back of a Rail Corp ute and finally came to rest in the scrub! I instantly thought shit i hope he is ok then when we found out that he was ok it was on then! Pick the DR up dust himself off and lets get on with it.
Along the railway service line to Bell then Clarence, through Sofala towards Hill End. TB is the master of directions and I am sure that he will fill us in on further details on the route. I do remember the sun being really low by the time we got to Hill End and the glare was horendous. Just a tip for anyone looking at getting yellow lenses for their goggles… If there is any sign of dust on them and the sun is in your face you cannot see! They are shithouse! I would prefer a clear lense if no tinted ones were available.
We stopped at the Pub at Hill End to get some refreshments then off to camp.More later!
Cheers Lefty
   Oops! Ran out of talent eh! I bit slippery those causeways. And I really felt like a quick dip first up in the morning with about 400km to ride. Especially after we were all warned!  No harm done just a little pride. Thanks to Boulder, Krusty and Gaz for your help too.
Yeah Galey that’s right! And shit those GTR’s were quick.
Home safe! Thanks to everyone involved had an absolute ball. :woohoo: Report to come later.
I Big thanks to all my “sponsors” for the Ride.
Chicken for the loan of the big XR600, and bags. (BTW she used no oil champ!) I used Motul 20w50 it seems to have done the trick. Needs re-jetting though.
TB for getting thr XR, mexican chicken meal, tent, mattress. I think I have about got it all.
Cheers,
Lefty
Awesome bike Chris. If only I had the cash I would snap it up in a heart beat. I have just completed 700km on an adventure ride this weekend on Chickens XR600 (Thanks Chicken). It would be a great buy.
Cheers Lefty,
