Yes! Definately a PDS moment Mal. The only one that I have ever had though.

Yes i was a little filthy about it all but you should have seen the tow truck driver just out of shot. He thought the car was going to land on him!

You will notice now that in the following years they don’t have the openings in the concrete walls like that any more. Which is a good thing from a safety pont of view.

From memory I think my 08 KTM 450 EXC weighed 122-125kg full of fuel but i will re weigh and see. I also used to own a WR250F which was 114kg full of fuel.

    Cheers,

    Hey Scotty,

I mentioned to TB to bring the Tenere around to weigh it, but i need to service the forklift to get it on the scales.  No seriously! We started to pull Chickens XR630 engine apart for a full rebuild. But that will be on another thread stay tuned. ;)

    Cheers,
    Lefty

    Hey Great report TB,

Thanks for taking the boys out mate. ;) I owe you one.

    Cheers,
    Lefty

PS; BTW we did finish second in the ARC Rally at Coffs Harbour. We were leading by 1min 30sec when two stages from the end we broke a $2 bolt holding one of the drive shaft flanges into the gearbox. We lost drive and finished the rally in second position 1min behind. Oh well shit sometimes happens…….

Yeah! f*#$ me Mal! It gave me arm pump getting it off TB’s ute. IT was the first thing that I lubed up! It was as dry as a Magpies Foot! Hopefully after a few days it will free up.

I am working on the minister to try to get to this one. I reckon it will be awesome. Chicken was kind enough to lend me his bike the old trusty XR600 and some gear and TB was kind enough to pick it up for me. So i thought I should give it a birthday and washed it. Check her out “nearly” brand new.
She just needs a little lovin and good to go eh!

BTW Gaz if you look closely in the pic (top RHS) I have the trusty DRZ ready for the operation. I just hope my fabricator mate turns up tomorrow.

    Cheers,
    Lefty
