Thanks for the tips. I got a question does this technique work with those decals that have a removable side on the underneath and a clear plastic on the outside that is peeled away after the decal is applied-to leave only the decal behind?? I got a Montesa 248 Cota one to do its about 3ft long and goes from the tank down to the side plate to under the seat, and I am worried about muffing it

    Thanks

Cool I am available on Sunday I will do a PM . Yes the last time I did settlers it was cool-I also call that trail “letterboxes’ .The sus one I call Paynes crossing. Their is a dude there that seems unhappy but I still got through. I would enter from the putty road side and then just ride on out at the other end.

    I am ready,

it gets a bit hot early next year but if you can do it I can.
The run I have done is through Wattos to Bucketty then through to St Albans. Other good bits I have done are the paynes crossing and the settlers trail , keen to show you, or keen to follow. I often ride with singles and the strom seems to hold its own until big ruts or stone steps bigger than [say] 500mm especially if they are in a row. Also struggle a bit in that greasy mud -the weight works against me.
    Cheers

Whoo Hoo! They have arrived :woohoo: – at last- I have been threatening the postie every day this week. B)
Fitted like a dream- piece of piss. The gear lever height relative to the peg height is different[these are higher than the aftermarket pitbike ones I had fitted and lower than the OEM] and this will cause a cluster fu”k with the adjustment. More stuff for me to modify but I am very happy. Thanks to the old bulls who organised -a great job- a great product-cant wait to test them and I am interested to hear how everyone gets on with them.
    Cheers

Short rides only i would think– primary function– eye candy. The one ebay would be a good investment too.. I think??[or thats what I plan telling the trouble n strife.]

Three boys big ugly and angry dog and a fortress like dwelling!! Only one reason I know of for short notice departure……and I aint there yet.
But I did suggest that perhaps that nice Ducati Alchemy on ebay would look nice on the pile, and I could kinda feel the short notice feeling coming on!

If you send me[pm] the email I can do it. I think they are too big for this site to handle, and I cant work out how to reduce the file size[around 1.7 meg.]
