Hey guys, first ride on my new TE449 and I meet up with a cool crew like you guys, thx for the great ride to Wauchope through some awesome trails, there is no dout the local community is so lucky to have such a bloody good place to play. This tells me the bike is a sign of some great time to be had.
The new bike was great and yeh a kick starter missing could be an issue but well on the old TE510 it wasn’t a joy to kick start it, or even clutch it, I found a set of small jumpers handy if you battery is cactus. I guess as long as you still have compression, fuel, a spark plug wrench to undrown the bike if the unthinkable happens, and the battery is good (dont leave the bike in the shed too long without riding it) , she should start first go.
Besides the tire problem, really tire pressure, the bike felt great, ‘had an interesting ride back to comboyne as I didn’t have Mick , or any sun for direction but eventually found the Rock and cruised on to my farm at Comboyne.
Followed on the next few days and found the trails dryer and a bit faster, soooo good is Bago and the hill climbs like no others
Thanks for introducing me to this forum and look forward to catching up again
