I’m guessing you mean Red Cliffs Lotsa. Will be a bit longer ride if you are starting at White Cliffs.
Good point Roy but Lotsa is hard core
It turns out, not that hard core TB. I meant Red Cliffs. But now that has got me thinking;) .
I’ll edit the post and I have spotted a place called Nangiloc a bit north of Hattar with a flat track nearby that might be a good start point. The start point doesn’t matter…just a place to leave the car.
Top ride and company. Here’s some pics.

Got looking at the joblist to get Ol burple ready for 8 days of fun, then went and bought a new DR 650. Picked that up on friday arvo, and managed to rack up a few hundred kays over the weekend. Pretty good, but will tweak over the next couple of days. Any chance of a lend of that airhawk Nick? I think the seat may have been made of concrete by mistake!
Also replaced some of my camping gear that failed so miserably on the Camerons ride.
Anyway, looking forward to just getting on the bike and going.
See you at Gunning,
MooseGood to see another Dr650. More for the spare parts pool:P
I have a spare 19lt tank that I can bring down with me if you havn’t sorted one out yet.

That’s what you get for letting Anton get too close to your main jet with a drill:P heaps of power though.
Motodude, you might want to get your gear sorted and do the overnight camp with us on the central coast this Friday night. Totally self supported on the 3 States.

I am hoping to still be there but my bike is back at Tekniks while they strip the shock and record what has been done now it perfect :cheer: I will try and pick it up thursday arvo and come up thru St Arburns on friday night :blink:We have to vote Saturday done we?
TB
Depending on time we might ride down to St Albans for a drink and then back up. Let me know when you are coming through on the day.
Yep, vote Saturday. Every election I put in a postal vote beacuase I am always not near a poling station. (ie riding) So I’ve done my voting.
Saturday will just be riding home or you could show us some tracks down to Mooni Mooni Bridge;) . I have to be at Warnervale at 1pm.
Just going through some photos and what do I find.
A pic of Kram from the Mick’s Birthday ride last year 2010, on the Sunday morning after the ride Saturday.
See you at the 3 States ride Kram
Went for a recy today to the Mogo camp site. Good day to test out new fork seals, wet weather gear and 30lt tank.
View from the cover of the servo. It was flogging down.
Red Hill Rd in Ourimbah SF
Jerry’s Kitchen Kulnura. The only bike there. Had a nice latte and cheese cake
Mogo camp site turnoff on the St Albans Rd. I put pink ribbons on the sign for Tryhard;)
Trials cement pipe in the foreground for those who want a crack at putting an adventure bike over it and dunnies in the background if it all goes wrong
John Williamson was singing Rip Rip Wood Chip next to the fire until I brought my camera out and he hid in his tent. Shy bloke.
Looks like a good spot. PM me if you can’t find it.
bmacca wrote:mate that is a massive days ride in some decent terrain. Mental note….wait til I’m an ironman before attending a Lotsa ride.Keep and eye on the gatherings forum for a shorter ride with more single in a couple of months if you”re keen bmacca;)

Trailboss wrote:Can the camping spot that is chosen be posted up when decided as I may turn up later in the night somethings permitting please :whistle:Cheers
TB
Be good to have you along TB. Mogo off the St Albans rd at the nothern end is looking good. Travellers from St Albans pub and Kulnura general store. It wouldn’t be much of a push for the Sydney crowd at this location…..Crusty, owl2, katgirl and all the others.
The thing I like about Friday night rides is that I can get my riding fix and still have the rest of the weekend to do stuff, or ride some more.
How did that recy go Mickp?
Check the first post for updates.
Due to popular demand.
We will be overnighting at a site closer to the Central Coast that will be revealed at a later date……….when I work out where.
So TBA on the camp site for now.
gavb wrote:Well we are dropping like flys.Sorry guys, Im out and will have to postpone this ride for a later date.
Sorry to hear that Gav, I was looking forward on going for a longer adventure ride with you.
As a consolation prize, Tryhard and myself need to test some gear. We are doing a self-sufficient overnighter, leaving after work, on Friday 25th March and hoping to do it at that camp ground (paddock) you like at Stewarts Brook.
I’ll post up the ride in the adventure section for those interested.
mototrans wrote:how many fuel stops..? The tar sections.. are they main roads? Need to sort the logistics or riding a registered two banger with indicators removed..mototrans, just make sure your headlight works.
It may be needed.
