Sorry guys, cancelling this ride. There didn’t seem much interest so I’ve made other arrangements. Sorry Diddel.
Cheers

Hey TB
The gearbox took 60ml and the engine took 180ml from when I started the ride. Looks like the scrapper ring problem and there is evidence the previous owner dusted the engine.
I’ll ride tomorrow if there are any takers and get rings in it before the next ride.
Cheers

You’ll be able to get some fuel range data on this ride Dillel. I’ll post up tomorrow night or Sunday for the Monday ride.

I know a nice waterhole on the way back to cool off if we need or to fill up the backpacksHS
Maybe this link
The car park is on the corner of Burns Rd and the Pacific hwy at Ourimbah next to the shell servo. If you’re comming from Sydney way take the ourimbah turnoff turn right at the roundabout which takes you undr the hwy and turn left at that roundabout and your first right 100m up the road. Car park is on your right before the shell servo.

Quote:Hi lotsa,Are you planning going up that congewia track this time ??.
:ohmy:Not this time Holeshot. I’m not planning on any pushing of bikes on this ride. It will be a mixture of main trail and singles so it should flow nicely in the heat that’s expected.
Wikd, if it’s 40 deg like the weather man says I might find some motard wheels to put on.
I’m riding Saturday and Saturday night I catch up with a bunch of blokes that all only seem to come together at this one event. Last year it bucketed rain. I only saw a few people on the trails.
I forgot to tell everyone how much I enjoyed the ride and thank Murf for leading, so consider yourselves told and thanked.
Its been a while since Ive done those hills because I don’t like having to get off my bike to push but it was a really good challenge and I enjoyed it immensely.
Everyone helped everyone else out, the lollies flowed freely….Ive never eaten so many lollies on a trail ride… and there was always a laugh to be had.
Brilliant
Gave the clutch a good workout last Saturday on Murfs basin ride. Just checked the fluid and its at the same level so all good so far.
