Put my name down please Tb
MickP mentioned his interest. I’m sure he’ll post up if he’s serious
ianb wrote:My company sell GPS and I can buy direct. The issue is that we have no where near the buying power of someone like JB Hi Fi. So at times they have them cheaper than we can buy them direct.
That said, I am happy to get prices if there was enough interest. I am using a GPS 60 which is workman like but by no means clever. The later models have much better visuals for a start.
One of the engineers at work is all over how to be all tricky and access maps and free beer etc.
If there was a common theme, I would try to help.
I have a 60csx and like free beer
Tell me more ianb:)

Have a beer Mick and the spelling will be fine
You’re not bringing your work home and editing all the posts?
axel wrote:Thanks lads. I can tell you I use computers all day but after 20 years of technology I f’n hate it all.
I’ll be using my GPS so I can find the start of loops I go on or cut in and as you said TB, so I can get back to the car when required.
I have no interest in advanced features or spending more than 5min on the computer, especially not after 4pm weekdays.Shonky for you then my friend
and free
If you want to ride ruted out singles then ourimbah is 50 minutes north of Lane Cove and Adam’s the Kato 350 man around there. If I’m not riding somewhere else it’s easy to tempt me for a few hours around there any weekend. Check for last minute posts phil or post up yourself

axel wrote:What about maps, software and such are they costly (or freely obtainable)?
I’m still keen for a new one in the TB order. If you’re following a GPS line, Shonky is fine. If you’re planning and want to make it easier, Oz Topo 4 works for me. Cost about $200
This ‘track’ was planned in Shonky :pinch:
Oz Topo eliminates the need to look at Google maps as often when planning
You blokes have some great country to ride in
Loved the video
It would have been a nice ride this morning Eagle. Beautiful views through there if time is taken to look.
Always thought the VStrom was a tractor Scotty :silly: 😆
Good one Adam
Thanks for posting video
You’re all welcome to join in the ride
just check the grading so you are comfortable with that
Next time Stuart

Are you in on the next TB 2-day mid Feb?
I was going to ask when you’ll get yourself a real bike to trailride and now you tell me you had them all along
How does this Monday suit you. I have to decide between Ourimbah out to The Basin or Pokolbin SF
Decision decisions. Look forward to riding with you soon.
I broke my ADV bike and I’m looking for one now. Rang a bloke today actually.
The TB 2 Day is on my calendar and will probably do if I’m sortedCheers
Sorry mate, Mondays out. Wifey is working and i have the kids until i go back to work next week
Definately hook up soon though, maybe when you get the new Beema
No probs, plenty of riding to be had
You can still go riding on the BMW with the kids……..asian style. Actually, you could probably fit all the kids in your street on the bike that way and a picnic basket too
No Beema for me. I’ll buy one when I’ve given up riding
