Holy crap Moto!! It looks like one of those hairy caterpillers crawled up your face and made camp around your mouth.
Great Mo mate.
Weclome to the site Wally Boy.
I’m sure we’ll meet up at Clarence sometime.
Good report Dan.
DR is looking the part Kylie, the yellow gard makes a huge difference.

CrashNo thanks Crash. I’m so used to not having hair even this tiny little bit is annoying the shit out of me.
I’m keeping it for work tomorrow just so everyone can have one more laugh. There was no one there today to laugh at me.
Donna just said to me “now you are coming home from work without the Mo AREN’T YOU” Yes dear I said.
Thanks to everyone for growing the Mo and hopefully we can get more signed up for next year.
Moto – keeps yours mate, you look bad ass
Hey Bob.
I seen some of those trucks coming back along the Bell Line yesterday and they look fooly sic. They must put some money into them. Would be good to watch.
Sorry LC, good to see you and Green had a great ride.
I understand what your saying TB.
I was told by the dealer that any licensed bike mechanic can do the services.
I was told that the piston was about $300 and that’s how much the first one they sent was, I just happened to be a 250 piston. I’m not keen to pay $520 again and will be getting prices on other brands and taking it up with Husky again.
If I ever buy another new bike I will be asking for a copy of the maintenance schedule for the term of the warranty and getting prices for parts in writing.
I do wonder if this happened at say the 20th month of the warranty period wether they would approve it.
Well I have the Husky back now. It took 10 weeks!!!!. I ultimately had to force the issue by sending a letter of demand (by email) to Husky asking for a new bike or my money back, since they were unable to supply the part that my bike needed and could give no indication when that part could be supplied. That prompted an immediate response from Husky, especially the way my assistant writes letters. They wouldn’t approve a new bike or money back but assured us that the bike had the highest priority to be fixed.
Husky took 3 – 4 weeks to approve the warranty and only then could parts be ordered. I phoned the dealer every 2 two weeks and got a ‘we’re still waiting for the parts’ response. After my email direct to Husky and a few phone calls, Husky dismantled a 2010 bike and sent the parts needed for mine overnight and the bike was fixed within a couple of days. No complaints there, although I don’t know why they couldn’t have arrived at this solution weeks beforehand.
I’m still happy with the bike just not the ridiculous delay by Husky in supplying parts. I think the dealer could have pushed a bit harder but they are a business and are very busy. Still a courtesy call every now and then would be good customer service. To Husky’s credit, the guy we dealt with there was extremely helpful. Once I took up the issue with Husky directly the issue of parts to repair the bike was sorted within a couple of days.
The bike is going well with no noises and feels a bit stronger than it did before it failed. I don’t know if this is because I haven’t been on it for 10weeks?
Is Husky warranty lip service? Well that’s up to the individual. They approved the claim and fixed the bike, just not in a reasonable time. So, apart from the unreasonable delay in fixing the bike, at least they did fix it.
What a great afternoon with the Old Bulls and their familes.
Donna sends her apologies. She tried to get the day off weeks ago before we received the invited, but it didn’t happen.
It was nice to catch up with a few Bulls I haven’t seen for a while, have a game of cricket with the kids and have a couple of beers.
The drive is not so bad these days and as TB said I’ve a bit lately and had some nice counter lunches hey TB.
Thanks for the invite TB. The location is perfect and I think it will be a great annual family get together.
You are a top bloke Dan and you make a quality product. It shows the OBT spirit when you guys came up with the idea to make the clocks. I’m sure the sponsors will appreciate them.
Good work mate.

How much did ya say we could get these Omegas for ?? And what is the availability??
I might be keen to snap one up after XMAS, will see how much $$$ I get off relos etc :laugh:On the Brace itself,
Not that I am any expert or anything :silly: , but when I tried it on at Dan`s a while back, it seemed to fit pretty good , was comfy (without any armour on at the time) And I reckon it would be a great buy for dudes on a bit of a budget looking for extra protectionEagle, I think it would fit you better than me as you are thinner in the chest. You should have enough adjustment to tilt the plate back. I was wearing it over my body armour (six six one pressure suit)and it was really comortable and I didn’t really notice it until the steep down hills. Like TB said I like my bars low on the Sherco so that would add to my neck tilting back further than normal.

What might of happened is the cam sprocket/s may have slipped on the cam shaft. They are only pressed on and occasionally do this.
My WR400 did it and the bike shop could not get it timed so he had another WR in the shop and measured the cam lobe postions and they were different. We set the cam lobes up to the same measurement as the standard WR and mine run perfectly and never moved again.Just a though Bob and easy to check.
Thanks TB.
I do have a tow rope. And a box of matches
Day 25 pic.
I know there’s not much there but it’s starting to give me the shits. I actually got some juice caught up in it this morning so I’m happy about that.I’ll try and bring this thread back on track.
I bought 2 of these Power Balance bands because the guy we were talking to was adement he felt better with one and he was saying that a lot of sports people were using them for better balance.
I did test 2 with the guy and it worked, but I also believe that if you repeat the same test without the Power Balance your body will remember the test and compensate for it. So I’m not fully convinced the tests show the benifits. But I will wear the band and see if I feel better all over or have a better sense of balance when riding.
As TB said it’s sort of a long term test. When Donna wears hers for a while I’ll post her thoughts.
