Mal5.1 is actually a fitter gone bad
:laugh:Hey…. I resemble that remark.
Gone bad.. might I remind you who trained me in my young fitter days.
I only have to drive 30km to Bathurst and I’m not going either. I was there on Saturday and the fans are already starting to invade.
Have fun LC.
No worries Scotty. We’ll catch up at the Orange/Hill ride.
Thanks guys. I’ll look into them next week some time.
I’m off next Saturday(10th) morning Scotty if you’re keen for a test run. If you can get a week day off I’m off all next week too.

Looks falsh Scotty. Might be a bit tricky to swap between bikes.
Anyway back on topic.
This a good price if you’re in the market for a two stroke.

Rubbish, rubbish and rubbish. Pre 2008 KTMs, maybe some bikes, but way too general a statement.
It was a bit tounge in cheek Axel. I didn’t mean to offend any KTM riders. I actually had a KTM250 2 stroke for a month and it was a great bike to ride. I just don’t like the lookof KTMs and niether does my partner and that plays a big part in purchasing new bikes.Problem with the Huskies is trying to sell them when your done with them.[/quote]
No the problem is trying to get Husky to make a decision on warranty and fix a busted bike in a resonable time. Selling is a whole other issue.Trailboss wrote:

Sorry admin before you cann this, I do have something half sensible to say–FOR CHRIST SAKE, BEFORE THESE FANDANGLED INVENTIONS WE DID PRETTY GOOD—KEEP THE FRONT WHEEL OFF THE GROUND AND THERE IS NO ISSUE. OOps I didn’t mean to yell, hope the missus didn;t freak

MurphGet off the computer Murph, you’re way to drunk to type.
And stop shouting man….
I can’t with go under bar on the Sherco as I like the bar high and have tried higher bars. The Husky I haven’t tried higher bars yet (I haven’t had the bike for three weeks either).
I have always being concerned about ripping my nuts off in an over the bars excursion, but a pad over the dampener may reduce the dammage.
I had a look at Champos WER and it needs welding to the head stock. Not overly keen on welding on the Husky.

Quote:I am not fishing either Dan but its the whole light weight thing I think.Hey when you stuck to Champo on the thumper track you had your big tank on your heavy 4 stroke and you had what 15 litres on board
And the fastest bike around the grass track was the heaviest bike at Louee
But I understand how light weight can be a benefit hey Mal, when you have to push it home
Sorry mal it just came out, couldnt stop it
Each to his own I say
Now where are the pictures of this said smoker?

Dan – I bought mine cause I’ve never had a 2 stroke and it’s fun to ride. I still think I’m faster on the Sherco. But man when the band comes on :woohoo: :woohoo:
TB –
I’ve been waiting for you or Moto to start. And yes they are heaps easier to push when busted. I would like to race you pushing our bikes from Portland cemetry to Medogrockets palce.
Yeh. I wish i had my 300 for Louee. It would have been good to go up against ollie, meance and champo (although he is to fast for me) on the thumper track.
Anyway BUY THE 250….. :woohoo: :woohoo:
Just buy it Boony, you wont regret it.
