Are they the ones to get TB? There are a lot out there. I’m not keen on the little knobs on the scotts. I’ll start a new thread.
Hey cycle tune is it a 2 stroke or 4 stroke, the TE are a four stroke I think and the WR are the 2 stroke model. Sounds like a good price either way. Any rego? Why are you selling it?
well done diddle, you survived your first Murphsberg. You are now part of an elite group. Murph has reputation for breaking riders.
Nice work moto. Sand is hard, Murph and I had had a crack at it with Champo a while ago. Champo had the paddle tyre and Murph and I on knobbies. It’s dam hard to maintain momentum, but fun once ‘up on the plane’.
I’d like to get a paddle tyre and have a go on the Husky up there. We should organise something for summer. Ride down the beach, have a swim and ride back.
Dampeners are the go. Must look into one soon.
That’s it, we’re now in daylight savings time. Now I only have 4 hours til home time not 5 :woohoo:
Welcome to the new time zone people.
There’s not even any visitors to share this with

Well what a great day out. Met up with twobanger just after 7am, geared up and off to Mt Bindo area. Cruised around the fire trails looking for any tracks that looked interesting. Ended up at Mt Bindo trig station and twobanger made another fine track selection. Lets have a quick look down there he said. ‘Down there’ was a very steep (close to 45 degree angle) loose rock hill. We went down about 20m and stopped to walk a bit futher. It looked like it got a whole lot steeper, so we decided to turn around. That was tough turning the bikes around on the hill and getting going. We worked our way back to the cars for a feed and fuel.
We headed out to the south west and picked up a couple of single tracks and then some not used fire trails covered in pine needles :woohoo: . Then we just cruised around looking for anything interesting. Ended up on the tracks DrD used for on his hampton ride. Rode some rocky hills and then came across an area with some sweet singles. We looped around here for a while and headed off looking again. We rode into a big flat riding area that looks very popular on weekends. Found a steep hill to play on and headed off on a sweet piece of fire trail. Then the rain started and the lightening. We thought we should start heading towards the cars and we though we were going in the right direction. We poped out on the tar and after a bit of thought I said to twobanger we’re way off target. We had come on the Oberon side of Jenolen Caves just before you go down the hill. So we headed back into the forest and been low on fuel we used the main fire trails back to the cars.
Had a great just exploring and will be going back to see if we can link up a decent loop.
We had a bit of a Steve Erwin day too. Crickey there was native animals out and about. We found (played with and relocted) a Funnel web spider. Stopped at an intersection and watched an echidna wonder across the road 10m away. Came over a rise in the pines and a Wombat was wondering around a small clearing. Seen a few of those black wallabys hanging around the side of the road.
Sorry no photos as I forgot my camera.
Have a good ride Murph & co and remeber KEEP LEFT.
It’s good as I only have to work 11 hrs tonight onstead of 12. :woohoo:
It’s not so good if your on shift at the ned when you have to work 13 hrs.

I don’t know how many times I have to tell you it’s the fuel taps fault
Yes yes my new bike is dead
and I will take any flack about it.
BUT it takes me a lot less than 48 hrs to work out a fuel tap is not positioned correctly.

Is the Husky going to be ready Mal?
I hope it’s done by then Dan. Husky have been asking lots of questions and the dealer keeps telling then it just failed and they don’t know why. They are sending photos this week.
I probably wont be taking it on the Orange ride anyway.
