Hey Moto
you might want to reconsider riding with Murph. I just got off the phone to him and he has crashed his postie bike on the way home from work. How does one crash a postie bike!!!
He is ok though
Start training moto.
Find a desk at work and drag it up and down 3 flights of stairs.
Great report Meance. Looks like a top place for an annual Old Bulls ride.
Sign me up for next year mate. :woohoo:
I’ll be heading out to Rydal area (near Lithgow) on Saturday and maybe Friday as well. I need to link up some single tracks.

Good on Yas:cheer:
Bolthere’s one more video to come of me flipping the new Husky. Murph said it looks very bad and I shouldn’t show the Mrs. When she sees the scratches on the new bike and the video, Murph will need a full face helmet when she gets hold of him in a couple of weeks. Cause I said it was all his fault.

Here’s good training tip Moto.
– 1 month before you ride with Murph, lay on the ground next to your bike with all your riding gear on .
– Have someone push your bike over so lands on your body.
– Bench press whole bike 5 times.
– Get yourself out from under the bike and stand the bike up.Now repeat the process 5 times within an hour and 5 times a week.
Throw in some riding up and off a 3 foot retaining wall and you’ll be all set for a Murphsberg ride.
Last few photos.

You did well champo. You look a lot more confident than I felt at the that point of the hill.
Here is son of murphs 2nd attempt. It’s the most visual. the other two were well controlled stalls.

to my way of thinking if there was ever a sport that had absolutely no need for aerodynamic enhancements it’s trials, are they just exhibitionists and like to get the lycra out in public?BC
It Takes BALLS to ride this sought of stuff, and ahem apparently Lycra is the best material for letting everybody know that you have them:laugh:
All I can say is F#@k that!!
Some of the female entrants also wore Lycra….
and my mate lent over to me and said while Lycra seemed to be the go, sports bras were optional… I’ll leave it at that.
Great day though. Can’t get my head around the sidecar trials bikes.
I have some vids on the way.
Well I’m here. I’ve being uploading videos all day and still have a few to go. Then I have a heap of photos.
The Husky is ok, thanks for everyone’s concern. There are only two small scratches that Donna will hardly notice. I’m all good if anyone cares. But I can’t take all the lime light. All riders worked hard and everyone chipped in when needed. It was a huge day, probably one of the hardest rides I’ve done.
Thanks Murph for putting on a true Erzberg style ride. I did actually enjoy the day, I just a lot more fitness and ability.
Thanks tf2 for directions to the F3. Cut heaps of time off the trip home.
Here’s a few vids . Photos on the way.
