Good morning Champo..
I’m here at work preparing to go home at 7am.
Is it cold and wet up your way? It bloody freezing here. 8.5 degrees out of the wind.
The last photo looks like one spent Old Bull.
I use one of the first Dririder rallycross jackets. I find it warm enough for our winters with the standard liner in. Not sure if it comes in hi viz orange though. The new ones have zip out sleaves for when the ride warms up.
Have fun shopping
Some great shots there rocket.
I’ve just download an hour worth of video from a mates camera. I’ll check to see if there is any of you and post it up. You were only a couple of minutes behinds one of our guys, so you should turn up somewhere. What type of radio are you wanting to program?
I bought two of these mufflers from fleabay years ago for my WR400. I only bought them cause they were cheap ($160 delivered) and the White Brothers can that was on it was way to loud.
I kept one standard and it was quiet enough and the other I opened up to what was inside. I found from memory two or three cyclinders of perforated steel and at least one restictor. I modified the insides to increase the gas flow and it made it a bit louder and seemed to increase the power a little.
The welding inside was pretty crappy looking. If you seriously need/want more power I have seen some KTM guys put the SX cap on the standard muffler and they rekon it works.
Here a few more pics.
AJ Roberts
Jarrod Bewley
Scott Thomas. A young Bathurst guy that rides with us on DSMRA rides when he’s not racing.
Found a couple more of your day 2 start.
Well we had a great five days in Orange for the A4DE. Met white rocket at scrutineering, he looked a bit nervous like our guys.
With our hotel accommodation double booked as two of our riders have the same last names spelled differently we were not off to a good start. By the time we had sorted a flat at the pub down the road it was too late to go catch up with TB. Sorry about that TB. TB rang telling me that white rockets helper had pulled the pin and was looking for a helper. We were only too happy to help as he was off five minutes after our guys.
Caught up with Mr Rocket on day 1 morning and his help had arrived. So he was all good. Tried to catch up with him every morning to see how he was going.
It was all good from a crews point of view. Got the riders to and from park ferme on time. Fueled fed and hydrated them at the dumps and had a few beers along the way. The bikes held up well nothing really braking just washing and oiling air filters and skins. I might even consider doing it next year, if I can con our riders this year to crew for me.
Here’s some pics of our guys 268, 272 & 281 and some other pics I thought looked good.
Good onya Rocket for first having a go and then finishing.
Here’s a few pics i got of you on the final moto.Great report TB.
It’s was good to meet a few of the Old Bulls at The A4DE. Sorry I didn’t get much time to catch up guys but it seemed like i was the only one in our team that could read a watch and get our guys out on time.I liked the video of Ben changing the moose. I wish I had a camera for one of our guys changing his tyre(no moose). He was talking himself (loudy) through the whole thing and then yelling “come on bring this baby home” on the last part of the bead. Very funny stuff. He then DNFed.
I have some pics of Whiterocket on the final moto that I’ll post on his thread.
You didn’t walk the special test in the pines mr Rocket. It was a stuggle to stand up most of the time. Glad I’m not riding in there.
Should be a good event.
Catch up with you all there. :woohoo:

Ok the $ deposit will be transfered this week,I take it the have fuel there?(and bandades)
I don’t think they have fuel, but a quick drive to Mudgee or Rylstone is easy enough. Just bring a couple of jerry cans.
They have two helipads that can be used to hand deliver bandades for you. (make sure you have ambo cover though)
