Is it fair to say that as we are based at Mary’s camp and not riding in this year we will miss the super rocky sections. I am contemplating a brand new S12.STM
No it’s not fair to say mate.
You will be riding super rocky sections. It Sunny Corner you have to ride rocks. :woohoo:
There will be some stationary rock sections, aka Boot Hill and lots of loose rock sections aka 2 Steps and the other hills in that area.
A new S12 will be close to shagged by the end of the weekend. But then again you didn’t ride the Sunday morning loop last year (I think you were still drinking) so you maybe ok.
King STM wrote:S12 front and rear if you don’t mind getting through rear tyres a bit quicker or compromise with an S12 front and an MX Extra on the back. That combo will give you more miles and do the job but not the supreme hook up of an S12 rear.STM
That’s a good combo STM. The S12 rear will shread to pieces out here. I found the MX extra good until about 50%worn then it became unpredicable, but then any tyre will probably do that. The Extras are godd as they have a high, soft side wall so you can run a bit lower pressure for ‘Extra’ traction. There also shit easy to fit as well.
I’m really happy with the Kendas ATM. The front seems better the more I ride on it.
I didn’t like the M12 on the rear of my 4T years ago, haven’t tried them on the 2T and not about to.
I might be up for a morning session.
Will let you know later in the week.
pm me the start location please.
1inarow has donated a set of Kenda tyres (front & rear) for the auction. We will work out the finer details with him and TB before the ride.
Happy birthday Chris.
I’m having a beer for you now mate. :woohoo:

Catered is a pretty big word i was just after a spit so i could cook myself a feed and chew on it whenever a bit peckishIn that case I have a small spit that would take a 2 lamb legs (probably). So that’s us sorted Bob.

I’m working on it i have 2 of those pipes i showed you , he just shrugged his shoulders and said “not much” to the price thing
I know where there are 4 tyres not quite as big as the ones on the side of that track
Know where i can find a Bobcat
I reckon we could find some pine logs pretty close???
:woohoo:
The Time thing might be a challenge
I might be able to get some dump truck tyres for you if you want, we have about 30 of them.
Thanks Bob. Those pipes will be excellent. I’ll keep in touch. I have another mate searching farms for anything we can ride over too.
Hey Pete, I have 4 dump truck tyres here and can get 2 every 3 – 6 months. But thanks for the offer and I’ll keep it in mind. KTM_rules might be interested in some tyres for the club Enduro X track. He plans on making it bigger and better.
Might have to start a thread for track building.
