What a top two days of riding. :woohoo:

Thanks to everyone that turned up I hope you all enjoyed yourself.

Huges thanks to sb25y and KTM_Rules for leading most of Saturday and GaleyKTM300 KTM_Rules for leading most of Sunday. You guys can now confirm that I am geographically retarted.

Saturday was the pick of the tracks for me. Just perfect tight single after perfect single. Then heaps of rock crawling, up and down. The only down was I ran out of water 30km into a 70km loop in 28 degree heat. Not the best thing to happen but that’s life. I just bluged a mouthfull here and there from Bob and Tim. Thanks guys.

Today was more fire trail than I wanted to do but I wanted to get to the servo and get Galey out front for the hard stuff. He didn’t disapoint either with lots of pine singles and then in to the hills. Up a rocky hill where Gocman had an issue with forward momentum. Second go, nailed it! Then on a steep rocky down hill Pete had a little lay down which knocked him up a bit. Down at the creek Pete had a rest under a tree while the rest went on to taclke two steps and the expert enduro loop/hilll from the NSW state round. Tim had a crack at 3 steps and did a good job on the first attempt getting a good 150 to 200m up the the first section. The young guys and Marty had another crack after playing on 2 steps.

Then it was off to play on the Ski Run. KTM_Rules breezed up it and wipped out the camera for anyone else who was keen. Tim and Marty had a crack and made it half way I think. Then off to the pine forests hills. There was riders up and down going everywhere. Fun to watch. It was getting on as the travellers wanted to get away early so KTM_Rules lead a sort of direct single track route home. Marty’s bike was playing up and getting hard to start so after boot hill I offered to take him back via fire trail. Then everyone was on the fire with me and KTM_Rules and Galey went off to do some more hardcore stuff.

All up a top weekend with top blokes.

    Pic and videos to come.

For christs sake I can’t get videos on here and i can’t find the how to either
So if you want to see some hill climb Videos go to 492michelle(you tube)
Watch them there they are all that are there at the moment so you don’t have to sift through them
or they will be on there when they upload

    :(

Open a youtube video to watch and while it’s loading up right click on the address at the top. Copy it and then paste it in a post. That should work.

My 2 cents worth Galey.

Got to Bobs around 1:15pm Friday and the boys ot back for lunch about 1:45. I was half geared up and they had a quick BBQ lunch and 4 of heaed out for a quick arvo loop. As has been said the rain caught us about 5km out of Bobs place, but after taking shelter in a local carport the sun came out and we were off to the local forest. Slippery singles and closed in fire trails for around 35kms did the trick. Back to Bobs for beer and benching racing.

Saturday was a great day out. Everyone has already described the terrain and riding styles so there’s not much more to add. I really enjoyed all the different tracks and watch the boys (mainly Ev) smashing themselves on that hill. I was never going to attempt it. If Galey got no where near the top then I would have no chance as he is a better rider than me.

Sunday was a great loop on private property. Tight technical single tracks and then a freshly groomed fast motorcross track.

Thanks to Bob and his family for putting on a great weekend and Bob and LC for leading us around some excellent tracks. I have just over 30GB of footage to go through and a few photos, but work and getting ready for this weekend has stopped me from looking at any of it yet.

I do love the sound of a 2 stroke in the pine forest… :woohoo:

Mal will be able to get the footage of the lads that climb the 3 steps after he rides up it first :woohoo: and not go around it ;)
    Galey

I will not be riding up or down 3 steps Galey :P . I have riden down it once and that’s enough for me. I’m happy to walk/climb halfway up the first section and take photos for anyone willing to give it a go.
