Part 5 of the ride. Just a bit more single track.
adam wrote:Top footage as usual MalYou blokes looked like you had a lot of fun :cheer:
What rear tyre were you running Mal ?
Adam.
Yep was a top day Adam.
I have a half worn Dunlop 952 on the rear. I used to like these tyres (on my 4T)and they’re great for the Sunny Corner ‘loam’, but it’s a 120 or 130 wide tyre and I’ve stuffed a 140 mousse inside it so it’s like a square profile now and felt like it didn’t want to tip into corners at all. Still gripped ok but I wont buy another one.
I’m off to Freeflight ride park tomorrow so it’ll get trashed there and I can take it off then.
It’s good to be back in action Bob. I’m still a bit nervous on the knee but it gets better every ride.
Part 4 :woohoo:
Part 3 :woohoo:
Latest people are awesome video.
wolfie wrote:cant wait for the rest when ready, i would love to be as quick and as good as you guys but after not riding for ages it will take ages to be 1/2 as good but that is the excuss for me to get out there ,thanx for more incentiveYou’ll just have to come up for a ride mate. I took a newbie from work out on some of those trails last week and he did well. I had sore legs from picking his bike up a lot (bloody 4 strokes are heavy). If you want a boot camp style ride go out with Galey or I can take you on tracks more suited to your current level and throw in a few challenges.

Some good stuff in here.
wolfie wrote:looks like you had a ball, looks awsome there if you have more put them up, watchn them makes me feel like im riding while sitting in my armchairIt is great fun riding with these guys Wolfie. We were acually all around the same pace which made for a quick flowing ride. :woohoo:
Part 3 & 4 are 11min long and ready to upload. They take anout 4 – 5 hours to upload each and part 5 is 16min long and will get uploaded tomorrow some time. I have to upload when we’re not using the computers as it slows the upload and then fails on me.
GaleyKTM300 wrote:What is the best tyre for Sunny? Slippery clay , tyre munching rocky climbs, greasy tree root infested single tracks! One that suits the size mousse I have would’ve been a good start. Felt like I had 18psi in the back.I do like the part 1 vid where you give Clarky a demo in the art of kick starting a GASGAS 300 at 1:38 . Yeah I go pretty quick when I need to.
Mal, obs you were taking it easy as you were still getting over the Coffs ride, you made a bad rear tyre choice, your sprockets and chain were past their best and you are still getting back to full fitness. Have I got everything?
Yep that’s about all I think.Cheers for taking out my mishaps!
And you should know by now not to get to close to the rear of Marty400’s bike, esp on the fire trails! 👿
I think he broke my headlight shroud with one of those rocks. Good fun though. :woohoo:

I should be first choice sweep. It’s a challenge trying to keep you in sight on the singles mate.Had a great day although I wasn’t happy with my rear tyre choice.
Happy birthday Chicken. Have a great day mate.
Does that mean you get more pressies today.
Merry Christmas everyone. Have a fun and safe holiday.
I’m about to fire up our early christmas preasent. A new flash coffee machine. :woohoo:
Then beer and seafood on the front lawn with my old dog.
Cheers
That’s a sweet looking track guys.
Congrats on the 250 Nick. It’s a perfect bike for what you and STM ride up there.
