Hey Ollie and mal 5.1 what oil you using in your fuel and what kind of rate?

    I use GRO at 50:1

Gas Gas recommend GRO and say you have to use it to keep your warranty. I was using Motul 800 in the Husky and will go back to that when my warranty runs out. Only because I can get the Motul locally, I have to order the GRO stuff from the Gas Gas dealer. They are both the around the same price.

I was using some Thor brand gloves for a while but they stretched easily and bunched up in my hand.

sb250y put me onto the Fox Bomber gloves. They are a bit expensive but seem really strong and super comfy so far. I’ve had them for about 6 months now.

    Holy crap that was close.

I bet if he didn’t have his chicky babe on the back he would’ve turned around and performed justifiable road rage all over the ute with his boot. 👿

Great report Unit. That about sums them up. They are lot different than you expect. Not like the old school 2t. The ‘map’ switch does make a difference and is useful in the snotty stuff.

Buy one, you’ll love it. :woohoo:

Yep happy fathers day to all you dads. Hope the kids got you something nice.

I know Murph will be getting bashed up by his young bloke out on the tracks today. What more could a dad ask for.

I sent my Dad a beer and food hamper and to say he stoked was an understatment. I think he was more stoked that I remembered.

Looks good Corey. Will be great for the kids. You could even teach them to ski behind a 25hp. I learnt behind a 15hp tinny.

    SOLD!

No TB still running mousses. Just upgraded to a flasher machine to make it easier again to change the mousse.

    Mal,

In looking again, I just noticed that you have mounted it to the top of the bash plate on the right hand side. Is that a frame rail behind the bash plate or something the plate protects. I’m guessing it’s a frame rail that the bash plate rests up against. If not the pipe guard will get a fair bit of leverage to bend the bash plate. Not sure where else you could mount it though that doesn’t give the pipe guard heaps of leverage on its mounts. The bloody pipes just stick out too far past the frame.

That part of the bash plate protects the water pump Bundy. The problem is the getting the mounts for the frame. I may have to make something to go from the bash plate back to the frame because you could be right with the leverage thing. I’ll look at it closer next week.
