Looks interesting Ollie.
Why would he do that?
Cause he can? Which is cool as a project.
Is the 430 motor better than a 300 with a big bore kit?
Love the look of the pipe. Is it custom made?
How does the auto work?
So many questions. 😆

How does the tyre re-bead itself on the r once fitted
And
How long does a mousse usually last as I saw in TB’s videos he used a new tyre and mousseBuzz
A mousse tubes density is about the same as having 14 odd psi in a normal tube. That’s why they are a bit harder to put until you get the technique right.
The bead usually pops back in place as we use windex or simlar stuff on the bead to make it slippery. Sometimes a small area of bead will stay in and you can use a bit of air pressure forced in the air valve hole to push the bead out. The air escapes over about minute.
My front mousse lasted nearly 3000kms before I cut a section of an old one. They soften and shrink over time and you really only do something with them when you feel the rim hiting rocks more and more.
Hope this helps buzz.
Get a couple of those bigger tyre levers Kram and use your 2 standard ones as well. Someone up there will have a tyre changer like the one TB is using.
Youtube mousse changing and watch the pros do it.
It’s not hard at all once get comfortable with the technique. The hard part is getting the levers in at the start.
It amazes me that bike shops don’t know how to do them. I had a dealer tell me he or his employees had no iaed how to change a mousse.
Once you get the hang of it Kram you’ll find it easier to change your mousse than a air tubed tyre.
Good luck with it mate.
If I lived closer I’d show you how I change them. Not much different to TB though.
July 11, 2011 at 12:04 am in reply to: Most damage to a new bike in the shortest time possible #204698I’d train my dog to do that to a KTM too.
Did he not think to stop the dog when it started or maybe not leave a big arse cranky dog alone with something new.
Good stuff Eagle. Sounds like a good day out. Was it cold and windy?
15 is a good roll up mate.
So are you happy with the bike? Everthing you expected?
Nice report Murph.
Looks like you’re getting out numbered by 2 strokes.
Great report guys.
You have dirtbike heaven up your way Mick.
Boony wrote:how long does the 4day endeuro go for ???????
4 DAYS!!!
Actually it’s 5 days long as scutineering is on the Wednesday usually. Then there’s only 3 days of acutal endurance racing and the final day is a motorcross/grass track style day where each class has a 4 – 6 lap race in front of the spectators.
Simple really.
Chris Thomas is in this video at around the 4:50 mark.

Is it just me or have they removed the 2011 4 day times now on the link you put there Mick.
It was cool to keep an eye on how Chris Thomas AKA old bull revthemonkey was doing.
Link seems to be working now Aaron.
Here’s a link for some pics from the last two days.
Happy birthday Lotsa.
Don’t work to hard mate.
I’ve watched that about 6 times over the last 2 weeks and I feel a fitter for it.
Imagine how fast the top riders go. Or are they the top riders.
This is not bike riding but I had to post it. Just plain awesome.
Thanks for the pics Lefty. As they say a picture tells a thousand words. Seems to be a nice simple system.
Scotty I think you’re right with the price of the Dyna Ring and EXP a lot more riders will use them.
I wonder if us trail hacks need the full blown auto clutch or the Dyna ring/EXP will more than enough for our application and the pro hard core blokes would use the full autos as it replace the whole clutch system with heavy duty parts. Just a thought. Maybe TISCO/Suttos has some insight.
TISCO – great write up mate, explains a lot and easy to understand.
I’d like to hear from the experts as well STM. The main differences I see are less moving parts in the EXP and easier adjustability and the clutch feel.
AS for the cheating part. I put that in for the no believers. I’m all for the technology boom. I bought a EFI bike in 2007 and my mates packed tow ropes in their bumbags cause they thought an EFI bike would never handle the bush. 12000 kms later and no EFI issues with the bike at all. Now everyone’s on the EFI band wagon.
I’m interested to learn more about the revloc. How their auto clutch operates and the dyna ring. The new rekluse EXP clutch (not the Core EXP) looks like it does the same thing as the dyna ring.
Lefty I forgot to put your review at the top. Sorry mate, I will fix that up.
Is the Dyna Ring like an expanding clutch plate? The rekluse one looks like that on their web site.
Medogrocket your a font of knowledge as usual. Your 550 is what satrted me thinking about the rekluse.
