Thanks medogrocket.
I didn’t do anything special, just finished an event which I was happy with. The Oyster Bay club put on a great event and set 3 great testing loops.
Thanks to you, your young bloke and our pit chick for keeping me and the bike fuelled for 2 days.

But the threat of only one decent hill and two kinds of music on Saturday night has scared me away.   Have a good one, all.
Cheers
MurphHey Murph
I’m sure the local Sunny Corner enduro legend or his understudy could come up with some little hills 👿 that might just test some of the Old Bulls, be good to have a ride with you againWho’s the local Sunny Corner enduro legend? We should have a ride with him one day medogrocket……
Murph at this stage I’m riding to Capertee Saturday morning refuelling, doing the ride and peeling off when it’s time for me to go home.
The only wisdom I can give you is always remember that if the motor or rear wheel stops turning the Rekluse unlocks and the bike will free wheel until you give the engine a rev. You connot roll start your bike either. Also don’t treat it like a constant velocity transmission, it only engages and disengages the clutch automatically.
On the adjustment side. Measure all the discs and plates to ensure they are within spec. I had 2 thicker discs with mine and got the freeplay correct after trying a few different combinations. You may have to do more machining since the center has already been machined. I think you can buy the thicker discs separatley as well.
Hope this helps.

Crash
Thanks Crash.
She’ll be ready to go for the next event mate.
After 3 days of water skiing and a few high speed stacks, I don’t even feel like sitting on the bike. But I have 2 days and a bag cement to get over it.

I’ll miss it. I’ll be water skiing at the dam you guys will ride past. If you intend to take the road bike friendly :woohoo: option to Bathurst.

this is the only pic of the Gasser with the front wheel on the ground
next year i might come up for it. reckon we can do the side by side thing for 12 hours?
  Thanks Menace. i may look ilike the man, but I was a man with only 2 hours broken sleep in the last 24 hours about to start the prolouge.
The Gasser is fun to ride mate and I can assure you the front was on the ground way more than off it.
Side by side for 12 hours   yeah I think we could do it. You’ll be a ball of fitness by this time next year and I’ll just wing it. :woohoo:
What a great event.
It started straight after night shift on Saturday morning. Capt drove down while I had a nap. We got there around 1:30pm, signed on and unloaded. I did the prolouge for us and didn’t come in last which was my goal. The prolouge track was great. A nice flowing sandy section into some tight greasy single track and then into the grass track to the finish. 4.4 km in length.
The local Apex club put on a great feed for everyone and we had a couple of beers and then off to bed.
I agree with Riggs’s take on the track. For the average punter is was a little on the hard side. No real sections to rest on. I found when I hit the short grass track section I opened up the bike and used just as much energy as putting through the singles.
As the day warmed up we had bigger rests between laps. I wasn’t a race so no use pushing ourselves to exhaustion. We’d have a long rest then go out for a qick lap then have another long rest. 4 man team is the go for next year.
Transmoto did a great job with the event and as Capt siad they were great blokes to chat to. They will be sending out serveys to get feedback for next years event.
The pro guys are just awesome to watch ride and most of them did the right thing and past when safe. There were some nobs that treated it like the GNCC but you have to expect that these days.
All up I had a great time catching up with Riggs, Cathi, Hatto, Pauly and ScottyH and meeting some new guys. Ours neighbours around us were top blokes and very friendly. Spac from DBW was doing ironman and was completly shagged by days end.
Ready for next year now. :woohoo: :woohoo:
I’m working as well Twobanger. Sorry mate.
Nice purchase Aido. I’m sure you’ll have heaps of fun on that thing.
I think the 570 is the better option for us trailriders.
Enjoy the toy mate. :woohoo:
Iva wrote:Hey Mal
I notice you were on the Husky, where’s the ferocious Gas Gas?
IvaIt doesn’t have any crash protection on it yet which is a must on any Murphsberg ride.
And Murphs right, i didn’t want to scratch it. The first time the Husky went on a Murphsberg I flipped it (nice and slowly too) on one of his hills.
It’ll be there next time :woohoo: :woohoo:
King Crash wrote:Who might be using the Transmoto as training for a single assault on the Condo 750 this year?Good luck to the OBT member!!! Go the yellow handguards!
I see they’re having a 12km prologue to work out the starting order this year! And even a parade!
Crash
I’m going with Badbowie (even though TB has chatted to him today). Unless one of the million DRZ riders on the site sre doing Condo.
Questions Crash. Does the ‘single’ assault mean:
a) First and only one time look for me in the top ten racer boy type single go at Condo
b) I’m using a single cylinder bike and I’m cool for doing so :silly:
c) I’m entering as a single rider, no help wanted, needed or given. Just me the bike and a million rocks along fence lines at silly speeds.
I got nothing really.
Is the yellow hand guarded rider going Iron Man at the 12hr?
Did you buy new hand guards Crash????
twobanger wrote:Tough looking ride,it would be steeper than the pics ill bet.Think the rocky side of mesh hill with rock step after rock step after rock step and all at different angles. And yes it’s steeper than it looks mate.
We’ll have to do a mid week shift worker ride up there Twobanger. :woohoo:
Riggs wrote:Our team is jinxed,3 riders injured in the weeks leading up to this.
2 have had to be replaced as injuries were too severe. 1 of the replacements injured last week, but should be ok for a few laps.
Rain forecast all week end.
 :silly: :pinch:
WOW! Remind me not to go riding with you Riggs.
If you need another rider I can rent you Capt. Furious for 2 beers per lap while I’m out doing my lap or two.  He wants to get fit on the YZ and that will help. :woohoo:
See ya there guys.
