Man you how to put on a hard ride Murph. :woohoo:

This ride was phisically and mentally hard. The anxiety before amazon was intense. And tracks leading up to the Gap were prime singles and a few fire trails to save energy for the assult on amazon.

Amazon is as hard as it looks. I would like to see a pro rider take it on and show us the technique needed to stay on the bike all the way up. At the top of stage 3 Murph said to me (while I was trying not to spew up) that by tonight I’ll want to come back and try again. I said not a chance dickhead!!! But he was right, that night over a few beers we were breaking down the stages, I want to go back now a try to better my first attemp by staying on the bike longer and not pushing it up.

Thanks for a great ride Murph. Except for my sudden departure from the bike. :( Thanks to the guys that turned for the ride. It was great to catch up with DanD and meet some new faces.

I’ll be back in winter Murph. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

What a great weekend. Thanks Mick and all involed for organising the rides and catering.
I had great time trying to catch Crash and Chicken who have watched ‘Dust to Glory’ way to many times and were playing Baja heros.

Tracks were awesome as usual. :woohoo: and that RUT!! Bloody hell,it nearly swallowed the whole bike.

    Happy birthday Mick and Jeffro.

It was good to catch up with the regular odl bulls and meet some new ones.

Sorry i didn’t get to say goodbye to everyone. Murph and I had to get home and prepare for the Murphsberg ‘Amazon’ attack.

Ok ok I get it. It’ll be a little cold, I’ll leave the ski at home.

You know you can water ski without actually touching the water. Maybe get you feet a little wet but that’s it. B)

We started skiing in late Agust last year and it’s get a bit chilly here. :S

They do look the goods Ollie. I rekon they’ll be around the 60k mark. The new Nissan Narvara 550 should be out now too. It’ll be 60k odd as well. Way to much for a run about ute I reckon.

Get the feeling you life will feel like your in a rut   a 10klm rut :P

Source was someone working with the organisers

    TB

what a rut  10 km and people pay money to ride it  have fun(hope its not dusty with all those bikes)

Yep we are paying money to ride it, but it’s not a race with time cards so there’s no real hurry and you can sit down for a couple of hours if you’re not liking it. It’s what you make it. We are going for the fun and social side of it. I doubt either of us will ride 6 hours each, but all riders are going in the same direction which is worth paying for in itself.

    See you there Cathi. :)

Wazz – hope you get a team sorted mate.

TB – Does this mean you’re not going now and Hatto wins before the event starts?

sb_250y – Is team blue going?

Capt. furious and I have entered a 2 man team. Not sure if we’ll make it to the end but we’ll have fun trying. :woohoo:

Time to go find a 10km loop and go round and round for a few hours. :silly:

Yeah thanks mate. It looks like a custom job. I am worried about the movement of the pipe after every stack too. I might be able to make a frame mount that goes inside the Hyde.

Got any photos of the ‘Big Ugly Whipps’ Spidy Dude?
