I haven’t seen them before Nick. I think they would be ok if you don’t sweat much. I don’t get water in my boots much anymore with over boot pants. But I do sweat heaps and that fills the boots up.

If you spend a bit of time with your boots under water, ie.helping guys in bog holes or paddle the bike through then the socks should work fine. Get some and give them a go mate.

Thanks for the report, looks like a perfect day weather and all and not a relative in site :P Sal looked at the pictures and thats the place she was talking about so we must now go out there one day soon  Looks nice out there, Salina said she had seen it on the Sydney weekender or some program like that. Is there a pub or similar there?

The “small steep down hill that had a 12inch step into an angled rut with some large loose rocks” that you wrote about was that the we spoke about? Its about 500 metres past Kram crossing  (where Kram broke his wrist) If it is thats Chops hill where he broke his wrist  If its the same its a shitty hill on a ADV bike espically with a pillion The road you took out was the one they took Kram out to the Mudgee rd where Donna picked him up?

Thanks again and for the 20 questions

    TB

Yeah I heard it was on one of those shows. It’s very well set up for campers out there. There’s toilets but no showers that I could see. You can hire canoes to paddle around the lake. Fishing is suppose to be good there too. No Pub TB. Closest is Rylstone, about 30min ride away.

We didn’t make it to Krams ‘crossing’. It was a small ‘S’ bend hill that is normally ok but after all the rain a lot of the dirt had washed away. We sooked and bailed only to find a great track back to the main road and another one that we will go back to one day.

Ollie – I didn’t get nude but close. There was two Swedish couples with kids nearby so I didn’t want to excite the wifes too much with my supermodel like figure.

OH dear crash. You are stuck in the both kinds of music truck driving rut mate.

It’s a signature of a band I particularly like. There is only 2 members that I know on here that would reconise it.

Would make a good Tatoo though. Leave it with me. ;)

I don’t like your 4 stroke and don’t ever intend on owning one so I don’t need to ride it.

I have a tractor with 15 speeds so kinda know what a 650 would be like. :P

Throw away all the steel bits Boony. Get a backhoe in and dig a big hole the size of the mat. Then get as many star posts as there are springs. Lay the mat over the hole, star posts around the outside, springs attached to holes in star posts and Bobs you’re uncle. :woohoo:

Grab some stubby holders and cover the top of the posts. Safety first and all ;) . If the kids are falling out on the ground you can upgrade with some ringlock around the star posts to bounce them back in.

Mmmmmm tough one Ollie. I don’t think threatening to take the keys off him would make any difference.

Maybe sit him down and explain to him that he is at an age now where he has to start making life decisions for himself. If he is dead set keen to follow dad into the Navy then he has to comit to that and work hard for it. I assume it’s not to easy to get into the Navy. Maybe he thinks you are pushing him to hard to go that way.

Is he smoking heaps or just a casual puff on the weekends with mates? Niether is a good thing but like you said maybe you’re looking to far into it.

Have a mate to mate chat with him not a father to son chat. I used to laugh at my dad wen he tried that.

Just my thoughts mate. Good luck.
