Maybe TB should have watched more Dakar movies instead of Dust to Glory 14 million times.
Welcome to the site tez.
990, that’s a big bike. A mate has one and loves it. Gets bugger all economy but it sounds really sweet. :woohoo:
Enjoy the site mate and don’t be scared to ask Boony some technical queations so we can all have a big belly laugh.
We had a good ride on Sunday morning with the guys.
Donna and I met the guys just after 7am at Tarana and we headed out to Carlwood rd to O’Connell. Then onto Lagoon and Perthville and finaly into the back of Bathurst.
We gave them the race experience and took them right up to the gates to the track. There were race nuts everywhere  and coppers
. We headed down the main street while watching all the race goers walking up the hill to the track. We then went to the Panorama Hotel for breakfast. TB had the biggest breakfast I have seem in a long time. It even had a lump of steak on the plate  .
With everyone filled up we said goodbye and ride safe.
Donna and I then went of to Sofala for lunch via Hillend. We clocked up 300km for the day.
PS. Nick will learn just to run over TB when he comes off like the rest of us do. Sounds like they are all ok, which is good.
Nice report Riggs. I can’t see the pics at work but will look when I get home.
It was great to meet you and Cathi and to go for a ride with you guys after lunch.
I had a fun time with Mr Furious chasing him around the tracks and getting heaps of confidence on the jumps. All that riding with only 3 X 30min naps in a 24 hour period.
I laughed so hard when the Capt came back from the large motrcross/small supercross track . We idled around the track twice and I didn’t like it much but the Capt was keen for ONE more lap, so I left him to it. Then he came back to the car with no rear guard  .

Calm down you two this is a family site.
Anyway Capt. Furious and I will be at Louee on Friday to keep an eye on you two kids. :woohoo:
We’ll be easy to find, just look for a big arse horse float. :laugh:Nah someone wanted it more than me.
I heard the same rumour today to Menace. Although I think it is fact not rumour.
Mick the bike can’t be blameed. He built it!!
IMO it sounds like pilot error. TWICE
Welcome to the jungle hippo slapper.
Happy birthday Eagle you DIRTY DIRTY BIRD!!!
If that is the two bikes he is looking at, go the 300. Feels heaps lighter on tracks and has the adjustability in the motor.
If he is mainly doing single track and tighter fire trails I would even suggest the 250EXC 2T. I had one for a couple of months and it was a great bike for the tight stuff.
Have a good ride Mick and enjoy the mud.
