Last video. It’s a bit boring. I think it was the last single of the day.
Great report Boony. Can’t wait to get up there for the annual ride.
Good luck Snowy. I’ve had the pop of an ACL (among other bits) and 3 months off work. Look after it mate and don’t lat any old butcher have a crack at it. I’m sure you’ll know a few good knifemen.

How did it affect your fuel economy?
I think it’s better. We topped up at 42km and I only had about 3L with me. Recon I used 4 and bit. I’d be happy with 10km/L.
live4daride wrote:Hi Mal5.1, i’d like to come out on the Fri. , I’m new to this site and I havent been on any graded rides before, but i’m familiar with the Lidsdale area. i’m from Katoomba, on a TE 610 with a big tank. If Sat looks to hard, I might do some exploring of the easier stuff around sunny corner.Anyone else keen on joining me for some riding thats shouldnt be too hard on the Sat? or even better knows the area, as i havent been around sunny sorner too much except for a few around eskdale? rd
Hi live4daride and welcome to the site.
Check out the grading system here
I don’t know what the tracks at Lidsdale forest are like now as it’s been years since I’ve been there. All the pines have been harvested as far as I know. Might be worth a look. If not we’ll go to Sunny Corner.
Saturday would be very hard work on a 610 with a big tank.

Still nice and damp from the rain. Sun out and cool temp (10 degrees).

EAGLE`02 wrote:Pretty cool vid MalI reckon Bob did pretty well to keep close to the back of your Banger too
Bob’s faster than me Eags. I was kind of holding him up.
I was having fun so I don’t really care if I held him up.
Looks good murph. Can’t wait to give it go.
I smashed out 90kms with Bob yesterday at his local area. Great tracks. Total ride time 5hrs 47min, moving time 4hrs 58min. Not many long rests in there.

You’re on the list mate.
medogrocket wrote:Thats a bugger i’m working, this sucks being on the opposite shift to you Mal.You should go 1 extra day, and have your very own 4 day to be in competition with the A4DE that is on the same weekend, I will get myself organised so i can at least come out on the saturday morning with you guys
You wanna ride on the Thursday?
We’ll get out for a ride before this one is on mate.
Looks like a good crew building.
Rocket, there won’t be much racing unless you get in front of me. I’m pretty slow at this grade.
Bob – we’ll get out after next weekend if you like. I need to go and finish the loop and get up the hill that I failed at on Friday.
And Bob is correct………I am geographically challenged. :pinch:
I’ll be in Bathurst tomorrow and maybe on the weekend. pm me the link or phone number and i can have a look for you.

Wore me out just reading that Mal
Sounds like a fun weekend though ,,, and COLDYour heading has the wrong date too ,,,, Should be JULY I think ?????
Whoops! Thanks mate. Had to many things going on at once.
It was 8 degrees on friday when we rode. Misty rain and a cold breeze, Perfect conditions. Only issue is you don’t realise you’re dehydrated until it’s too late on a cold day. My unfit mate found that out.
