I went to the rally last year and we camped next to where they were doing the coaching clinic and they do a great job.

Enjoy the clinic ladies they will have a nice grass track set up for you.

The rally tracks are awesome and stop at porkchop and watch the carnage for a while. :woohoo:

Hi Cathi. Welcome to the site mate. ;)

If your personality and enthusiasm is even half of Kats then us blokes are in for some trouble.

Kat can show you how to change your tyres too. She is a gun at it now.

Nice choice on the BMW too. :)

Dont the 450 gassers have a slipper clutch standard?? Both ones I have seen do.

The 2010 gasser don’t have a slipper clutch I believe. Shame as I test rode the 2007 model and it was a great bike. If I was looking at a new 4 stroke it would be high on the list, as would Sherco.

The early model Shercos and Gassers had dodgey electrics. They both had the same fuel injection systems but that’s all sorted now I believe. I’ve had no issues with my fuel injection in over 10000 kms.

Great reports guys. Keep them coming.

I think Krustys is the best blow by blow report so far. ;) Good job mate.

Just about to start watching STMs videos.

Jeffro – Chat to Medogrocket about the Berg starting/stalling issues. It may have something to do with the accelerator pump and tuning.

A mate had one of these years ago. Had an excellent motor and great suspension for it’s time.

Is the travel/ride log just for the poker run?

I though it was for the whole weekend and for anyone that went riding.

    Welcome to the site Paul.

You’ll get a good laugh here and lots of bike info.

I’m in the Lithgow area and ride mainly weekdays, but I’ll put on a weekend ride soon. I ride the western side of Newnes, Sunny Corner and a few other places. I don’t ride Clarence much as there are to many knobs over there.

Nice bike too, I test rode one at Louee last year at the Old Bulls Xmas party.

I’m with Rocket. If you can get a ride on lots of different bikes then you get a good feel of what you want.

Mick has a good point too. If you buy a KLX then you share spares with Corey and also see who’s fastest in the tracks on the same bike.

I have a Husky WR300 (2 stroke) and a Sherco 5.1 (4 stroke) and I love then both for different reasons. The Sherco and KLX share the same engine characteristics I’m told, nice linear power delivery and easy to ride.

    Good luck with it.

Enjoy the site and keep the oil warm in Coreys KLX.
