Looking on google maps it about 5 hours drive for me.
If this picture doen’t make you want to go out and buy some Muc-Off then we’re out of ideas.

That’s the way i see it too Boony.
I’ll be getting one of these. I used TBs for pratice before the 4 day and duriong the event and they make changing the tyre so much easier.
And these ones are black which will save me painting it..

No the Husky wont be going. Did some damage to the forks and they are in getting fixed.
The Sherco will be making a special guest appearance.
I don’t have a chainsaw that works either.
I was out at Sofala Gaol for lunch on Saturday guys.
Highly recommended if your out that way. Just let me know so Donna and I can come.
There was water going over the causeway where we will be camping.
We then pre run part of the dual sport route back to dark Corner. Might do the other part on the weekend if I get time.
What sort of bikes are going on the dual sport route?
We want to make it interesting and maybe slightly challenging although the route out to Capertee has a couple of interesting bits.
Sounds like a typical murphsberg mate. Did you get any pics?
How did the back hold up?
Good stuff Eagle.
I’m sure we’ll hear all about when the ‘Turkeys’ come out to play.
Sounds like a ture murphsberg if no one could make it up one of his hills first go.
Thanks for the advice Dick. But I was just happy to stay on the bike on the grass tracks.
Old mate took some good pics.

We have Husky dealer just down the road at Morriset. Can I help in any way??? Maybe I could check and see if they have one??? What model and size is she??? Let me know, only to happy to help outOn another note I will shout a beer at the end of the ride to anyone who can top out on our little widow maker on their first attempt :woohoo: :woohoo: I won’t say how many times Tim and I had a go at it before we nailed it :silly:
We have made an easier route up the hill for those who are not as keen
Just a little warning that the easier version pops out pretty close to Wangi Rd, so be careful  :woohoo: :woohoo:
Hoping my back will improve after another nights sleep (still aching a bit) All will be good :woohoo:
Cheers
MurphGood onya Murph another murphsberg in the making. Rest up and ride safe mate.
Donna and I are about to get on the beemer and go for lunch somewhere. :woohoo:
What does Greg Ball do Crash? Never heard of the guy.
I have been using the scorpian xtra on the back for a while now and have had no real issues. Only that when the tread gets low they seem to lose traction easier. But I turn them around for a new sharp edge and there fine for another few hundred kms. I like the high profile of the rears, it keeps pinch flats to a minimum.
I used the mid soft scorpian front for the 4 day and leading up to the event and they performed really well. In the sharp rocky stuff you lose a few knobs but the bike always went where I pointed it. I had a scorpian xtra on the front just before the 4 day and felt good too. It handled the rocky suff better and I will probably use them from now on.
Kram – I’m converted on the mousses. They give you more confidence riding in rocky sections and you find youself ridng faster with more balance. I have dented my rim a few times though because you just don’t care what you hit.
TB – Medogrockets flat was before he put goo in the tyres. It was part of his 10min work period on the start of day 2.
Nice looking horse Capt. I assume it takes a lot of skill to get to that stage of horse riding.
Are you part of the jousting team that goes around to shows? I may have seen you at a party in Bathurst a couple of months ago. It was a great show and very informative of the good old days. And you look like you should be flying an aircraft not rinding the CX500.

(That of course being the only reason we were letting Bollocks the baker come along) So we will need one and all to drink a cake as such now for the celebration

Sorry to hear that Bol. You would’ve enjoyed the ride mate.
Cair the CWA proudly mate, they do some good work in the bush.
