Is the christmas party a secret squirrel one TB??
Boony – Yes I have a BBQ, all though it doesn’t like the wind much. But you are welcome to come use it and the paddock any time mate. And your nut case neighbour Bol as well.

I had tears of laughter inside my helmet a few times. They would look over their shoulder at you and then look at me and I would shake my head. The air compressor bone heads were the funniest
What about the wombat thing at the pet shop now that was funny   Whats the etiquette for that mate
I wished we stooped for a photo now. I just spilled my beer with the image of you and him having a waving moment together. Absolute gold it was.TB
I thought of using one of them socks Ollie but can’t remember who makes them. I think Tuffy from Trailrider was testing one for a few issues. I’ll see if I can find them.

Thanks Blue. I had been told to remove the plug when it happened. But it’s good to post up and get the advice I did. And I always think the worst when the bike is not running properly. I have checked that I have a 17mm spanner in the bum bag too.
Dick. uummm thanks too I think.. Nah mate I will check the pickup.

Quote:So Mal what was the end result of all this as I didnt notice a problem with the bike yesterday?TB
I was in the middle of writing this mate.
Well I pulled the carbi out on Monday and removed the bowl drain plug. There was a small amount of black crap (about the size of a pin head) in bottom of the plug. Not sure what it was but I was soft and broke up when got it out. Probably just accumulated crap from the tank.
I then removed the bowl and found another bit of crap floating around. This one looked a bit like a tiny ball of silastic. Don’t know if it was silastic but it’s gone now. I put the carbi back in and the bike started (which is a win for me).
Yesterday was the first opportunity to give it a run. As you can see from TBs videos it seems to be running ok. When we went down the back I run the bike over the area where it was playing up and had no signs of hesitation. So I’m claiming a win.
Thanks everyone for the advice.
TB checking for fuel issues.

And they’re Fords Mick. No one cares about them, not even Ford.
Geez!!!
I was just watching some more of those crazy suckers on youtube.
They seem to know how to get a bike engine to go fast and make heaps of noise but thier engineering and understanding of physics is lacking a little.
The bike is looking like it’s gonna hurt someone Mick. Good luck to your mate. Make sure you post some video when it’s up and running.
Too late mate Donna has google mapped it already. And it does include a stop at Westfield Portland just for you.
Hey ……You can be first reserve to pick the next destination ok.
Nice report TB.
It was a pleasure to have you and the family up for the day and the smile on the boys faces was priceless.

It’s an old sheep station with heaps of old time stuff and antiques. We took every back road we could find and went through all the little country towns. We even came a horse and cart tour, so we stopped to g’day and take a few pics. I’ll upload later, off for a walk now it’s cooled downed a bit.Happy Australia day everyone
I want to know how the trip went Mal but I don’t know if this is the thread for it. Are you going to do a ride report?
Yes a ride report is on it’s Kylie. Tomorrow morning hopefully. I’m tired now and going to bed.
