Nice photos Gav, it was fun with no dust.

Yes there were a few in the BBQ shelter when we stopped for a quick break.
From memory they didn’t look like real bikes,
I think they only had little Fuel tanks that would only last for 100kms or so

Put just enough air in the new tube so it will “hold it’s shape” and that makes it harder to pinch with the tyre levers. This may have been in the video but I didn’t watch it.

“Do you think we can do a loop through the Barringtond and back in a day?”

You sure can Gav, It’ll be about 500ks.
Get to Stratford any way you like then up Gloucester Tops rd to Rawdon Vale rd to Scone rd to Moonan Flat for lunch then home via Gundy, Glenbawn Dam, Rouchel rd to Albano rd to Bridgman rd then left into Sunnyside lane to Dyrring rd to Glendon Brook to Branxton to Greta to Old Maitland rd to Abermain to home.

Have a look on Google Maps and you should be able to join the dots, if not give us a yell

Good ride guys and girl. Nice to know you can get through on the Martindale trail.
Gav, you’re supposed to have a bourbon at lunch not coffee, I thought you knew the rules

Mick has a big tank just use his
It’s easy to swap fuel, just park side by side and join fuel taps with clear hose.
That way when youré finished you can use as a sight glass to see how full one is.

What’s the difference between a King Hit and a 69er?

Well, at least with a 69er you can see the C**t coming

Hi Kat, I’ve got a Zeuss and am very happy with it.
    It’s light, comfortable and waterproof.
Theres no pull on the peak even at 120kms+
I use a clear visor and sunglasses when needed.
I’ve been thinking about sunglasses with foam around the lens for the dusty days (seen them in Cycletorque)

I certainly agree with everything that has been written so far.
Lobby groups and good PR from Toy Runs etc can only help.

I think that each and every one of us needs to act responsibly when on a ride.
There is plenty of places to do wheelies, slides etc.
But like everything there is a time and place for it.

I believe in riding with courtesy (as quiet as possible) when near other people, whether they are horse riders, bushwalkers, picnickers or neighgbours.

If you want to go faster train more and get good suspension rather than a noisy pipe.

I’d rather ride anyhow than not be able to ride any day.

Thanks for that Brad, I don’t know the name of the original owner at this stage. I’ll have to try and find out so I can check what was done(spring rates, settings etc)
