Definetly a Michelin M12 XC front 90/90 and a S12 XC Rear 140/80, this is on a KTM 450 EXC but smaller capacity may want to run a 120 rear. Even the wear out of the rear S12 is very good. Its had 5 hard rides at Sunny Corner which is rock city and hard pack and its held up well.

Eags i feel your pain mate, i would have done the same thing as you.

I had a similar instance years ago that cost me $80 trying to help someone else.

I try and help fellow bikers when ever i can,but i assess the situation more so these days before i get into it.

Axel im in mate, it is an awesome weekend that is part of Australian History.

Ive been going for 9 years and love it. Cant beat the sound of the V8s on a Sunday morning roaring up the mountain.

We will have to organise a OBT Bathurst weekend next year.

Plenty of stretching the week leading up to the event along with plenty of water in that same week.

Hit the electrolytes fluids two days before the event, during the event and after the event. As mentioned above, Endura is a good product.

Keep the salts up after the event to prevent cramping.

Power bars between loops are good also, not too many though.

If you get bad arm pump, put your forearms into a esky full of ice water to quickly get the recovery process going, circulate in for 5 mins out for 10 etc etc

This kept me going well for when i raced enduros for a few years.

    Gday boys,

There will be 5 of us OBT guys up there. We will be camped near the road, just on the left before you turn into the rally site.

Look out for a white Prado MT 1972, we are all on KTMs.

Drop into camp for a beer.

Great photos and report there Scotty, i have been down through here with Galey a few times,
    Brilliant riding and awesome scenery.

Will have to catch up for a ride at Clarence in the next few weeks maybe. I know Twobanger is always keen to get in there and he knows the area really well.
