Thanks mate, but mine is an 08 and the bolt holes will be different,
I might actually do the same though.
Certainly a great idea TR
Must catch up for a ride soon mate.We can hit up Sunny Corner or Clarence.
Cheers Marty
Awesome job TR, good quality work and looks part of the bike.

Braking, Metal Sintered pads work well for me.

Ive got a KTM 450 EXC 2008 and its a cracker of a bike to ride.
Been very reliable and has more than enough power.
As Trailraider mentioned, maybe even try a KTM 350 and see how you like it, i know they are very popular.
Cheers Marty
On my KTM 450 EXC im running 14/52, find its a good combination
GDay Ross,
Welcome to OBT, you sure have come to the right place to join rides all around this great country of ours. There are a few of us who ride, Milton,Batemans Bay,Araluen etc, it is a fair way North for you but well worth the trip as it is prime riding.
See you on the trails sometime.
Great to see you are out there at 60, nice work mate.
Cheers Marty
Rach, have trust in your new purchase, they are brilliant boots and do wear very well.
I have had my Sidi Crossfires for 5 years and the soles are far from wearing out,and they get a lot of use.
Those guys may have sharp aftermarket foot pegs??
Cheers Marty
Welcome to OBT Andy, must head up your way soon for a ride with Murph and crew.
See you on the trails sometime.
72 hey,good year that one.
Marty
GDay Paul,
Welcome to OBT,its a great site with plenty of helpful info.
The ADV side of things is really getting along nicely these days.
Im just over at Menai but hit the trails at Sunny Corner frequently.
Catch up with you some time.
Cheers Marty
Hey Chris,
Have a great birthday mate, for your age you still ride with plenty of skill that would out do many younger riders. As they say, there is nothing like experience.
Cheers Marty
Great report and photos fellas, well done.
And you are right,Oberon is a cold place that’s for sure.
Marty
Murph i reckon the perfect bike for you and the rugged terrain you ride in would be a KTM 350 four stroke. Plenty of low down torque and still plenty of grunt for the fire trails. A mate just bought one and he is about 100kgs and absolutely loves it,excellent all rounder.
Im not a fan of the two stroke for the above mentioned, and the four strokes are very forgiving.
Keep an eye out for a KTM ride day,Suttos do them occasionally
Just my two cents.
Marty
Great truck Murph, that picture tells a thousand stories.
Been around Australia myself in 1997 for 12 months, best year ever and makes you realize that we live in the BEST country.
Marty
HeyJamie, Same as TB for me the Michelin S12 rear and a Michelin M12 front.
As strange as it sounds the S12 rear in a 140 actually wears really well.Your big 510 will love it mate.
I have tried so many combinations over the years and find these excellent all year round, but most of my riding is from March through to December.
Are you keen for a run at Clarence in a couple of weeks?
Cheers Marty
Excellent video Scotty,a quality production.
Awesome Single Trail. It was great catching up with you guys down at The Transmoto 12 hour.
Top marks.
