    Damo, we will definetly be there mate,and your right,it is a great ride.

    You should join us beforehand on a ride up there,as we do a lot of the Rally Trails anyway.

    Im also in Sydney at Menai and ride Sunny Corner,Clarence,South Coast etc

    As mentioned above, i believe a TTR230 would be perfect,ticks all the boxes.

    Such bad news,i know all of us on here put ourselves in the same situation and feel for you mate.
    As TB said,i would get a second opinion also,to be sure.
    Cant miss out on our usual campfire yarns on bikes,four wheel drives,swags,torches and fishing etc.
    Hope all gets better for you mate.

    LC are we making your Sea Doo tent the main OBT gathering point?

    There will be , Marty450,GaleyKTM300,Mickktm300,Gocman and 2 others.

    Im in a white Prado MT1972, KTM sticker on the back window.

    I reckon about a 2007 KTM 250 EXC 4 stroke with Electric start would suit you well.

    You dont see too many of them around as most guys like the 450s.They have all the good gear on them from factory.

    Even a WR250 4 stroke about 2008,good power delivery and forgiving on the long rides as they dont wear you out as quick.

    I believe these would be about 5 – 6 thousand??

    I was in at Highway Performance bikes in Rockdale/Sydney today and they had the first bike above there ,not sure if it was for sale or not but looked in good nick. Ask for Bob or Julie.

    Sound good,i reckon April will be the go,as ive got the Transmoto 12 hour in March and then Kowen ride not long after that.
