Thanks for the well wishes lads, it has been a great day with dinner out at Cronulla with the family kicking back with some Oporto Burgers and a few cold beers watching the surf roll in.
Catch up with you all on the trails real soon.
Bring on the roost fest Galey, you love the missiles off my S12.
Cheers Marty
Great find Tezza, hows Lowndesy and the rest of em,bloody classic.
I love the V8 Supercars and this year will be an interesting year with Nissan and Mercedes entering the main game.
Bring it on boys.
Marty

Catch you on the trails sometime.
Cheers Marty

Nice work Scotty,we have the previous model and find it has a brilliant clear video and awesome sound pick up.
Just a tip,we run ours on the side of our helmet, but also run a small lanyard around the camera mount and back through the helmet strap for peace of mind if you get a big hit from a tree branch.
Having said that,it has never moved.
Have fun with it mate.
Marty
Plus one on the thread tape, dont do them up tight, just firm,so in the event of a decent hit they turn rather than break.
Another tip is to drill a 1/8 hole approx 15mm in from the ball end,if it does have a direct hit,it will break off at this point rather than further up,this gives you a decent lever to get you home.Cheers Marty
Good work there Twobanger, looks like Clarence is it?
Yeah we only got a Go Pro a couple of months ago and find its excellent watching back the antics from the day or weekend.
Plenty of rides next year to perfect our video productions.
Marty
Great videos Krusty, good music also. Awesome trails and top weekend.
Marty
GDay Rach,
Welcome to OBT, it is a fantastic site with alot of great people, awesome riding knowledge amongst the crew and also very helpful with Technical questions.
Your bike of choice is brilliant KTM350EXC it will suit you well, and there are quite a few rides that go into The Watagans also.
See you on the trails.
Marty
Twobanger, great job on the video, that trail was brilliant, fast and flowing with some small ruts that could be railed.
I was a bit hard on the rear brake sliding into corners, not much pads left before the ride and heating up quicker. Nothing like some Gatorade to cool things down on the caliper.
Marty
Bob,
I wear the under armour only in Winter because it is hot and wear External Fox armour in the warmer months as it breathes alot better.
Glad you finally got some.
Marty
Galey, awesome weekend, even if it was only the saturday loop. Thanks lads for setting up a good camp, and also Galey and KTM_rules for leading the twp groups.
Great riding, top blokes and plenty of laughs around the fire, even if we do stray off the subject of bikes for a while and onto four wheel drives, fishing,Hunting etc Galey loves it.
It was good having a scrap out on the trails with Gocman,Galey,Twobanger, Mickktm300 and Wolfie.
That S12 of mine hooked up well on that drag race. Good times.
Marty
Gday Tez,
I wear Sidi Crossfire boots and find them brilliant, extremely comfortable from new.Very flexible as they have the pivot ankle section.
A good (EVS or LEATT) neck brace i swear by,as i have had some big offs at speed and come up with a slightly sore neck, but without it things could have been alot worse.
Spot tracker as Eags mentioned, good compact size, well priced and very accurate.
A good (Uniden or GME) 5 watt UHF radio, with speaker/microphone lead to clip onto Camelback chest strap for ease of use.I know this is a protection topic but thought i would throw it in there. Its good to chat during the day to the crew, but can be used for help if needed,as all farmers run UHF.
I use external Fox body armour as i find it cooler to ride in,but in Winter i wear a EVS under armour with Enduro jacket over the top.
Good luck with it all mate.Catch up on the trails.
Marty
