Definatly coming to Coffs this year
http://www.rallyaustralia.com.au/
I have already signed up as an official again.
Same weekend as the election.
Wire up a standard cigarette lighter socket.
That will fit most thing that you need power for.
Places like Jaycar / Dick Smiths will sell a socket that will fit in there with dual USB output.
I have one that cost me about $10 that I use for charging my intercoms.
Just spotted this one on ADV

Bit newer but still pretty complete
Toes
The radio advertising here says the Stadium Moto X is on this Saturday in Coffs
Thanks Fuchsy.
That is good to see a snpshot of the whole ride.
Top effort
Thanks for the Vid Fuchsy.
That is the part I missed so good to see what it was like.Is that clutch getting any better?
Forgot to put these ones in.
Mickp with ATGATT NOT!!
Mick at my camp.
Back to the ride.
Another photo of a drinking establishment.
Ulong RSL Club.
By that time is was bee line back to home base. so no more photos were takenThat is about all I have so looking forward to do it again next year.
And in the mean time if anyone is in the area I would be quite happy to show them around.
Now time to get off this computer and get the bike ready for a ride tomorrow
Maso.
No wories Nick it was a pleasure to show the bloke around our area.
As it turns out there was no need for cornerman system as discussed pre ride.
For the first couple of sections I am sure I was holding every one up and as there was bugger all dust the whole pack virtually kept in visual contact so the ride flowed quite well.
When we got to the start of the rougher stuff I let Boz lead and at thet time everyone else decided ” Lets catch Boz”.
No worries, so Shedmarket and I swept for the rest of the ride taking it nice and easy.
Here is a few photos that I took.
Pre ride setup
I had to show the boys the Golden Dog
Mick explainded about Boz and his flat so we left a marker for next time as a reminder.
View from the look out.
This is the bottle shop at Tyringham.
Next stop was Platapus Flat which would be a great camping spot.
( Photo was taken pre ride and in panorama so I donot know how it will go on here)
More to comeThanks for starting the ball rolling Mick
I will upload my photos tomorrow
Sorry for the delay but have been real busy.
I will sit down tomorrow morning and put a bit of a report and some picks up.Jennifer, a manager at Bunnings, had the task of hiring someone to fill a job opening.
After sorting through a stack of resumes she found four people who
were equally qualified.Jennifer decided to call the four in and ask them only one question.
Their answer would determine which of them would get the
job.The day came and as the four sat around the conference room table,
Jennifer asked, ‘What is the fastest thing you know of?’The first man replied, ‘A THOUGHT.’ It just pops into your head.
There’s no warning.‘That’s very good!’ replied Jennifer. ‘And, now you sir?’, she asked
the second man.‘Hmmm…let me see ‘A blink! It comes and goes and you don’t know that
it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know of.’‘Excellent!’ said Jennifer. ‘The blink of an eye, that’s a very
popular cliché for speed.’She then turned to the third man, who was contemplating his reply.
‘Well, out at my dad’s property, you step out of the house and on the
wall there’s a light switch.
When you flip that switch, way out across the pasture the light on the
barn comes on in less than an instant.
‘Yep, TURNING ON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of’.Jennifer was very impressed with the third answer and thought she had
found her man. ‘It ‘s hard to beat the speed of light,’
she said.Turning to Russ, the fourth and final man, Jennifer posed the same
question.Old Russ replied, ‘After hearing the previous three answers, it’s
obvious to me that the fastest thing known is DIARRHOEA.’‘WHAT !?’ said Jennifer, stunned by the response.
‘Oh sure’, said Russ. ‘You see, the other day I wasn’t feeling so
good, and I ran for the bathroom, but before I could THINK, BLINK, or
TURN ON THE LIGHT, I had already sh#t myself..’
Russell is now working at a Bunnings near you!OWL 02 wrote:I plan on being by the pool by noon on Friday sipping fizzy drinks.Gaz
I will know where to find you then.
I may have to have a fizzy drink with you as well
Time to finalise what I hope will happen.
Rather than do a riders briefing on Sat morning I am hoping that we can all catch up on Friday afternoon/night and work out our game plan.(will everyone be there Friday night?) that way we can all meet at the carpark on Sat morning ready to leave at 8.00 am after breakfast.
I will be camping at Darlington park on Fri & Sat nights I will hang a sign up on my camper trailer with MASO written on it so you can all see where I am camped so we can get togeather and discuss thing like how often people want to stop either to rest or for photos etc.
As we are doing the long run now lunch will be at Tyringham where they will do sandwiches and drinks.
Be aware that we will be getting up to about 1400m elevation so be prepared for some cool weather especially if there is cloud cover.
STM has organised the weather for us so all that should be good with no dust and nice moist roads with plenty of mud puddles just for fun.
When is everyone else getting there?
Is the Friday arvo meeting a thing that will happen?
singletrackmind wrote:Hey Maso,Same deal on the North side of town mate. Nothing heavy, just light showers on and off. I have ordered this until Tuesday night then cool and clear through the weekend with light winds.
STM
We have had some heavy stuff here in town last night. So dust wont be a problem I don’t think.
Watching the radar seems as though west of us up where we are headed is copping the same sort of weather.
When you do come up Eagle make sure you give us a bell as we ride virtually evey second weekend and would be glad to show you around.
I am sure everything will go OK next weekend.
Looks like the longer route is virtually locked in.
Weather permitting we can modify it on the run next Saturday
It has been raing here all night and looks pretty set in.
