He has a yellow Safari that he will sell for $250 ex Coffs Harbour.
Pm me if interested
Just remember if you havn’t used Pivot Pegs before they feel really weird at first.
It took me a few rides to really get used to them so don’t give up on them too soon.
Now I would not have a bike without them.
I rode a mates bike a few weeks ago that had standard pegs and that felt strange after being used to them for so long.
If you do a lot of standing you will love them.
Just my opinion
Been running these for about three years.
First in my DRZ and now on my DR650.
Top bit of gear.
Another advantage is if you fall and do bend your bars you can loosen them off and rotate one forward and the other backward to bring them back closer to normal position.
Did that to my mates bike(also using Rox Risers) when we still had three days riding to get home with bent bars.Bugger
Caught by an old post.
Anyway my mate has a yellow Safari that he said he would sell for $250 ex Coffs Harbour if any one is interested.
It is in real good nick as it has only been dropped once so just a few sctatches on one side.Pm me if interested and I will give you his number
I have a mate that has two 16L ( whatever size they are ) Safari Tanks
I will check this arvo to see if he wants to sell one.
I wonder if he runs Bar Risers !!
Ev
We ride throught that way quite often.
I havn’t really noticed any Pine Forests (not really looking for them ) but if you are after hills there are plenty of them.
Through that way there are a fair few planted hardwood plantations.
I will take more notice next time we pass through.Bundyroy
You are right it is just a wheel holder but it lets you stand on the lower rim of the changer so you are not chasing the wheel all over the floor.
It works for me for the price
Thanks fellas
I can put up with the popping on decel as my fuel economy is still pretty good.
Guess we will have to pull his carby and see what jetting is in his and maybe make it same as mine to see if that makes a difference.
I do know his plug was very black when we installed his vapor temp sensor.
Looks like I get the spanners out this week end.
Thanks Lefty I will check that out this arvo.
I would still like to find someone to check that they are both jetted properly.
Welcome to the site.
I live in Coffs Harbour and three or four of us ride quite reguarly around your area.(GS 800, Dr650’s and a DRz400 )
Yesterday we went Bowraville, Taylors Arm, Bellbrook then Willawarren then had to slab it home due to the storms in the area.
Keep an eye out in the ADV section as we intend to do a few decent rides early in the new year.dupsyam4

I live in Coffs and know all the trails you have mentioned.
I am more into a bit longer rides ( DR650 ) so if you feel like a nice easy cruise I would be happy for you to tag along at any time.
I am meeting some of the crew here at the Coffs ride at Glenreagh on Sat 26th for a beer.
Should see if you can make it too.
