Dont let anyone sleep on the ground if they dont have to they might need air con by the looks.Howdy boys thank you for the wishes. Quiet one at home with the family. Good as it gets.
Linda ordered a diamond ring for my birthday apparently, still a bit cranky over me buying her a chainsaw for her 40th.
Still it was a warm winter with all that nice fresh cut wood.
she doesnt know yet but booking the new 300 2 banger in for suspension at Pro moto next week ready for the Nundle hills of Gold next month.
Im not sure of ive started a tradition of gifts at birthdays but I hope Linda likes her smooth as Camaro next year for her 41st.
Cheers again looking for a ride next week if anyones up family weekend this weekend but keen.Regards
Jess Gardiner was/is a great ambassador for this sport and the mighty Sherco team. A couple of old farts ride over chuck their helmets off and start chatting and she turns around like we were uncles and says “oh thank god another Sherco rider I broke my subframe can I have yours? just joking”
The log was at least a metre high and more and she’d been climbing over it with no ramp or run up just front wheel bump and over. No matter what is said, I will say this , this person can ride a damn bike.
Snowy met her too, up side down in a boghole creek crossing in the mddle of swamp near camp he was tying to get his bike to stop drowning him underneath it… while we watched, just after he regained composure and stopped screaming somehting about “could of been killed” which was nonsense, the CRF is such a forgiving bike Im sure it would of let him up prior to that, thats how it looked to us as Jess Gardiner presprung the suspension bounced over him stopped on the other side looked down at Snowies wet slimy bulk standing crying, and tore a hole through the bog on the way out. (side note: she got caught on a piece of wire at the fence at the road side and went nearly over the bars ( side note: we laughed at that too so stop complaining that we didnt help Snowy)
Later that day I tried to emulate my now hero Jessica by racing Boony to same said bog crossing, meeting myself an not Boony there I was in such good spirit I had forgotten where Snowy had gone asunder and presprung the suspension and….nose dived into the massive bog hole going over the bars at 10km/hr digging my Jess Gardiner replica helmet visor into the other side of the bank. (Side note: Boony laughed so hard wee came out ) Im still limping.Thank you to Col and Ben for inviting Snowy and Snowy for inviting me. Ill definitely be back this way riding it was eppic singlesville. Single track not unwed people that is.
Thank you to the fellas once again.
Thought Id better chime in and defend Andy’s pride.
Twas me that hit the tree , a pine but im fine. Boomtish.Andys speed was good and smooth not a corner missed, infact his pace was fast. getting smooth now Andy well done my brother. cost me $198 retail to fix front guard/ headlight / headlight surround with front plate / and the kill switch. Not bad.
Good to see Hoss back in the saddle. Boomtish. Hope to see you out there often Hoss.Thank you SES Boony for crapping yourself when you saw me explode. Its good to know you care darling. Bit thoughtless laughing I thought but alas. And to Snowy for riding ahead to tell my
brother Wiz
“You should call your mum your brother just died.” Thank you ?
And to my stead, we live on.
Thanks Again for the jam filled donuts and coke too Andy. F@#$#kn well done.Racin
Good luck with the ride day if we can help out at Bikes and Bits let us know.
The Sherco’s weve been riding are perfect and the guys racing for me are taking A grade win in real races.
With not a single problem.Everyone should go for a ride if not for anything to check the hype for themselves. i recommend it.
Well done to Flynn Motorsports for putting cash on the line to DO a ride day. Dumbasses think this stuff given to the dealers free its usually bikes off the floor the dealer has to take a punt on and insurance companies certainly dont help, so back him up and get your mates looking for a bike down there for him.
How many dealer ride days has anyone seen in the last 5 years. I would say none.
Get behind Flynns and sign up.
PS.
Anyone wondering why Boony and Snows rooms were the only two rooms that the electric blankets and air conditioning units didnt come back on after the power came on ???
IT WAS PEP
he was the one that yelled out as i turned each breaker off in the electrical board to find which one switched the lights on and off, then I cut the power to your heat.
SEE IT WAS PEP
and sixteen beers a rum 2 vodka cruisers something that tasted like diesel (if it was diesel Linda that not very funny)Go grab Dirt Action my good chaps.
Sherco 250 2 stroke best in class “The engine is potentially the best 250 enduro powerplant yet”
WOW
and page 84 Sherco 300 4 stroke “This bike took us by surprise. It wasnt that we doubted the Sherco was a good thing …..just not this bloody good”
OMG WTF FFS it MBFG …..250 SER and 300 SEFR what came second, Boony your riding numbers 2’s :woohoo: :whistle:Thank you to all the fellas for a great weekend. Great company.
Gerro is welcome along anytime in my book. I still havent stopped laughing.

Also a shout out to Pauly, warming the oven as we speak . cheersSupport like a beer at lunch and 2 beef and gravy rolls for every man. On both days, Sounds like adventure to me.
Thank you Pep for the truck and handsome crew. Thanks Scotty for rigging up Byrnsey to navigate and Ricky to fill the gaps in, no maps.
Next year who’s in deposits paid January?
We will take our lunch time beer at the settlers ridges next year. What a view.Ive got to say… hunting for Luke in the singles…little bit of salemanship you know what I mean.
Well bugger me if the KKK wasnt hard to catch. Dont keep putting yourself down about this mate. your quick you just need a more nimble bike. (kato Sherco CRF whatever) Sherco.
But your quick man the rest of the boys will backme up here.
Get off the KKK big fella cause if you can wield it like that in the singles…and I rode it to make sure…pushing trees over bobcat style sitting on the command deck of the HMAS KKK. not easy brother. Thanks to Pauly (Deceptorcon) looks like hes cruising till you try and catch him. Thanks for leading
Damos  as always.

No but Boon was dropping something else all day.
G’day Husky
Looks like we have something in common we should get the 2 shops together for a ride. Good luck with the new venture mate I think we will both do well with these. I’m impressed enough that this one is in the shed and CRF has gone. I’m on the ride tomorrow with the Tamworth boys will gauge interest there guessing.
Again, all the best with the new team. -
