I have my bike insured with Shannons, cheapest rates for me, I like them as you get first right of salvage, cover for up to $3000 of gear and seem to have a good understanding of bikes and riders. As I have made a claim I can say they were good to deal with and one other good thing about comprehensive insurance is the green slip prices are cheaper, just paid mine with GIO for $268, insurance from memory is about $430 on $11k agreed value
I don’t know but could the build up of pressure in the fork be caused by changing air temp, just a thought!
Post removedThere are some simple rules in the tech help section Medogrocket please read here and familiarise yourself with them
whoops I have been a bad boy!!
Give me a call Mal if you need any help
Would have been great to do the M3DE need all the practice I can get but work calls for all those days, make sure you work that Mal over can’t have him getting any more confident/fit/better before the real A4DE
Also Mal reckons he can ride up razorback no worries, make sure you get some video:silly: :woohoo:

Is it just to make the bike easier to ride with less manual controls?Does anyone here race/compete with one?
I used one in my 550 Berg in a couple of enduro’s, the most benefit was when fatigue set in, made life so much better, the thing I liked the most was you could basically blast into corners way to hot and not have to worry about stalling and to a point which gear you were in, with the power of the 550 it most of the times would pull/wheel spin you out, I am putting one into my Berg 450 at the moment so will be interesting how the smaller cc’s handle that style of riding.
While I was doing the videoing for Mal5.1, I could really see the difference with Mal’s riding, he looked to be in more control (seriously) and the lap times proved it, I reckon he will improve at least another 3-5 seconds a lap before the A4DE, go Mal go!!yes I am riding, hope they have the entry and regs out soon
Welcome mate!
I holiday down there most years around the Surf Beach area, do me a favour and go have a paddle in the surf for me, it’s hot and i need cooling down :laugh:Welcome
That’s the way chris057, you want to do some enduro’s, what better way then to jump right in and start with the A4DE, you must be a fit bugger as you ride a 200Trailboss wrote:

belligerent beef
There is no need to worry about the Rekluse, that type of work will not worry it, but if constantly riding in too high a gear using excessive clutch slipping will eventually damage your clutch plates as per any standard clutch, just remember the Rekluse does not turn your bike into an automatic.
I ran a standard z-start in a 550 Berg for a few thousands k’s when removed when I sold the bike the steel clutch plates were nice and blue, fictions were ok, I must admit I got quite lazy with gear changes and simply opened up the power of the Berg to over come being in the wrong gear, most times got me out of troubles, smaller cc bike would needed down shiftingI’d love to see the ALDI version, if it is anything like the Digital TV recorder I brought from them the Rekluse would do some funny things, like lock up and need to power down to unlock, halfway through a fast full throttle corner decide it had enough and disengage, maybe not,yes oh yes, oh maybe not, get the picture! bloody piece of junk
$815 on Sutto’s web site
Buying from oversea’s is not allowed by the Rekluse company, they will not sell to you if there is a distributor in your country, I try it and they politely said please go to your local distributor
From Rekluse $629us($684au) plus postage ? comes out close to what Sutto is asking, ? Old Bulls price, you will probably end up with the same price as buying oversea’s anyway and you will be able to get Sutto’s great support if neededOllie wrote:
Quote:Sorry Murph but Mal and the manual are rightyou cant bump start a rekluse equiped bike. I forgot
Ollie
Ollie and Mal are correct, no to the bump start, bad news for anyone with electric start only (new Bergs) no way to restart if the electric leg fails
Great write up Mal, Love the first photo of the workshop with shitter in the back ground and tools (beer) on the floor
I can vouch for the rekluse clutches, I miss the one I had and will be getting another soon, they make everything easier, I’ll let you all know how much time it gives Mal on his grass track, I reckon he will get a couple of seconds a lap out of it
Also the older model clutch was definately harder to install than the new Pro clutchWith the A4DE in April it may better suit people involved in the 4 day if the night out is in May,
May 15th sounds good as it is my Birthday :cheer: -
