I will be Mal
once again to confirm my ride will be a mix, i will be making educated guesses on the day but Sunny Corner being what it is the grading will be 3/4, please don’t turn up with a poorly maintained bike and no spares or tools, if you are running tubes please carry a spare tube, I have been known to be a cranky bastard and i may just leave you out there if you wish to spoil the ride for others
And remember there will be a nice variety of rocksOK for all those wondering what my ride will be like, buggered if I know!!! I am going to wing it on the day, i will try to avoid the other rides and for those that know me I am always up for a challenge and don’t like to stop, so I will grade it at 3-4 depending on how my dodgy elbow goes, there will be rocks, singles, open trails, rocks, hills, mud, water, rocks, pines, natural timber, rocks, slippery stuff and a few rocks
pussy!!
After reading this thread again it looks like a no ride for me, I will be there riding anyway so Maybe You would like another lead rider for a totally unplanned grade 3-5 loop, let me know
Just one more please TB, just got the ok for the weekend off, Been a bugger trying to get any weekends

pm the start location please, see how i pull up after the weekend
I fitted a FMF 4.1 Titanium to my 570, fitment was easy, super light, about 100mm shorter then standard, came with 94db insert and spark arrestor insert, I purchased it from Riders Discount in the US via eBay, was delivered to my door for $358au
has a nice note to it even with the 94db insert fitted, it may be just me but the bike seems to run a bit cooler, so I guess the exhaust flow has increased.
I am very happy with it so far and would highly recommend it over a Akro, had an Akro on my last Berg and hated the Carbon brackets, they rub the pipe and are expensive to buy if you brake them
Hope this helps
TimP.S FMF also comes in blue
sorry Chris about the late birthday wish, hope you had a great day, i’m told turning 40 is a big day, i will find out soon
cheers
Scotty wrote:I had a pre-emptive strike and went for a ride today. There were a billion utes and trailer full of bike headed over the mountain as I was driver home and I saw lots of 4WD’s setting up camp whilst I was up there. With so much traffic in the bush, it may actually be a good weekend to stay at home. :dry:I won’t be riding to many dickheads out in the forest, seems whenever there are school holidays people come up with there unregistered bikes, quads, etc no care for anyone else, they treat the place as though there are no laws and don’t respect any thing, If any Old Bulls are coming up to Clarence or Sunny Corner areas for a ride be super careful!!!
happy birthday mate, sorry this is late, hope you had a good day
berg 570 1st ride, power delivery very nice, very responsive and plently of snap especially in the wild map mode, I currently prefer the mild setting as traction is better
Bike tips into corners nicely, rear suspension is good, not quite sure with the front yet but I lost a lot of confidence with the problematic previous bike, a damper would help, so time will tell
The bike felt lighter and more flickable the more I rode it even though me fitness is up the sh*t
I did the 1st oil change at 3hrs as recommended, oil screen had a lot of assemble crap on it, change was done straight after this ride and I was surprised how cool the oil was, last bike the oil temp would have given you 3rd degree burns,
so far the bike is a good thing[quote

I’m helping my local Portland lad on his GG, he is super fit and fast, with his experience and top notch support crew he will rip it up this time, i’m sure -
