i finally got around to fitting my grip heaters on the weekend…
i only wired them for the low setting as everyone says the high one is too hot. i can by pass the resister if need be with the swap of a spade teminal;)
i brought an illuminated switch from jaycar and made a minature bracket to hold it. not much room to move behind the headlight on the 300.

i brought an airbox wash cover and cleaned out the box. man was it dirty after the paddys swamp boghole:laugh: :laugh:
i also put a bar pad on her and some “more” new grips, TAG ones this time…

shes all dressed up and ready for the snow;)

i got the frame, swinger and stand back from the coaters on friday. they did a wicked job. it only cost me $215. i couldnt have painted it for that price:laugh: :laugh:


the swingarm looks grey here but it is silver with metal flake

i will be getting into it again after the snow ride to have it “tip-top” for sammy before we go to louee;)

whatever, there is blizzard warnings for the next 2 days, with weather fining for friday and some rain/snow showers for sat..
we will hit snow, its only about 40km from buller, i will ride up bourke street if i need to to find some,
there is about 50-80cm of snow on the mountain now and more to come.

Hi Dennis,
you can arrive anytime you want, I normally don’t supply tea as most usually finish work
and then come up at various intervals, grabbing something on the way.
However, what I will do is have a large pot of fresh homemade soup on the
fire and everybody is welcome to help themselves (a bowl full is a meal).
You wont starve.
If you get up early enough you’ll be able to get a familiarity ride in.
Also, as we have limited refrigeration we have a couple of large eskys for
drinks, suggest you bring a few extras and some ice. Depends on how good a
drinkers you are.
