    hello Mick, :)

I had always thought selling rural real estate was only for window lickers, donut punchers and lovers of the odd poddy calf…… (like Bollocks)

I had honestly believed you when you told me that due to the tough crisis that is/was the GFC, you had to bite down on your pillow, put on your best panties, say goodbye to your mate Tom cruise and mince your way out of the closet in the guise of a new job.

seems to me it was just a long winded story so you could buy a tenere and ride off to Pooh Bay to drop your anchor in a sailor or vise versa.

kudos go to you my sly old mate as taking the lovely Melissa for a dink was a top ploy to remain seemingly a real full man,

(whilst the unbearable urge to gargle gonads was secretly tingling your loins)

after all she did have a handbag that you could carry your balls in for the trip.

but really Mick, is there all that need to use the secret codes of the latte slurpers?

we all know what you mean when you say “rubber inserts for your footpegs”

and “trying to fit in Eagles screaming sissy Bar”……

its time to give up trying to “change your power delivery curve mate… you’ll just end up hurting your back again.

    kind regards,

    Ol’ mate Menace

    we ran her in saturday.

she went really good after changing the pilot jet, starting first or second kick, hot or cold

i was suprised at the power delivery as its pretty smooth and i was expecting arm stretching powerband. i think it is a lot quicker than it feels.

by the end of the ride, Craig was riding it like he stole it and had a grin from ear to ear

it is everything and more than he expected.

the highlight of the day was seeing some young blokes in the traffic pointing and staring at it on the trailer…… and then rear ending the car in front
    it was fucking gold :woohoo:

    ……now, what else can i rebuild B)

    howdy folks,
thought you might like a long overdue update.

the old girl is finished :)

    and look at her shine…

    th_firststart.jpg
we got her to starta few months ago, even though it was a bitch to start…

the jetting was buggered as i finally worked out, the pilot jet was a 20 size when it should be nearer to a 60 size  so its starving for fuel at start/idle
it was all a bit of a guessing game as the new carb came with the 20, the FMF website recommends a 45 and the factory manual says its a bloody 60 :S
its got the 60 in it now but it was too late to start it the other night but i think it will be alright now
it doesn’t help having a girly little kickstarter either…. really, what were yamaha thinking back then

anyway, we cycled her a few times as a pre run in and checked her out with a thermal camera to check for leaks or any other anomaly…

everything was cool with only a minor weep from a hose that was easily fixed.

we waited for a month or so for the bloke who painted the tank to f**k around as he is a perfectionist wanker
he did a great job matching the colour and used some special 2 pack stuff that stunk to high heaven. it come up great.

a few finishing touches and she is magazine ready ;)

we took her to a secret location for some outdoor nude photography…
