You ride a KTM what the hell did you thik was going to happen, a well engineered suspension system was going to protect from all those nasty bumps and whoops out there??? well no me boyo you have one end of the shock connected to the frame and the other end directly to the swingarm, Eevn Noah outlawed this on the ark after the PDS on the main gangplank, snapped back up and launched the last 2 mamoths into orbit.

actually im quite appalled at this one Mr Blue Oyster. believing in noah, thinking you are god…where does it end.

considering that yamaha made bikes that, and i quote..”have one end of the shock connected to the frame and the other end directly to the swingarm” until around 2004ish or later im quite baffled how you can persistantly pay out on the above mentioned idea. the yamaha im refering to was produced from the mid ’80s, for over 20 years, with only minor changes, mainly for ADR compliance….

i refer to the trusty DT175…….

you have shat in your own bed, now roll over on it, or change your “satin” sheets:woohoo:

doesnt leave much else for you to bag katos about, my dear friendly foe….eh??

GOD is orange, come out from under your shit riddled satin veil and see the light…

i will guide you without the need for big words…;)

husky, thanks for your input and initial concern, even if it ended up in side splitting hysterics and tears.

i think, however, i would be better off using a full roll of race tape to secure said donut cushion to my arse as if i was to follow your instructions, i would be too tempted to snort the superglue off my seat. im not a drug addict, i just appreciate the aroma of superglue and the feeling it gives me:P

also im worried that the glue would seep through my pants and stick my balls to the seat…..try explaining that to the nurses in emergency room.:silly:

im glad you got a laugh mate, thats what i do best.

im in melbourne for the comedy festival all week…..

    i wish:woohoo:

as long as everybodies in one piece….its a good ride

    grade 4+…..thats a bit spooky:unsure:

in reply to: led indicators and load resistors #128187

yeah your right shane. i was thinking they were an “all in one” unit. thats what i meant about turning them around…..then looking at my half asleep drawings, i drew the leds the same way round…d’oh.

those resistors have a built in heat sink, so im tippin they are supposed to get hot.

in reply to: led indicators and load resistors #128178

the led has a polarity, meaning it will only work one way around.

didyou try doing it as per kinda drawing 2, if its still no good try it back to front, like kinda drawing 3

    ……good one tiny, you biarch……

in reply to: led indicators and load resistors #128170

check the indicator wire for a voltage. there shouldnt be any when the indicators arent on….

and show us some pics, i wanna get some for my katie

in reply to: led indicators and load resistors #128166

    well XY, being a sparky, i should know….but i dont:P

and seeing as ive been watching the footy…ie- asleep on the couch, im a bit groggy.

ummm, theres only 3 ways they could go i reckon.

cause my brains not workin, f*ck it, ill draw it….

    CCF00452009_00000.jpg

the top kindergarden picture is in ‘parallel’, like the way you have it…i think.

the second is with the led first, then the resistor.
the third is with the resistor first.

note that the led has a polarity but the resistor wont, so maybe they should be like the third one..
did you try putting the resistor to the pos side?

whar colours are the wires XY ?
do they have a + and – marked on them

and how hot is hot, burnies hot or just warm….

    sorry mate im still asleep
