the start point for the rally is at Kendalls A campground, in the Rubicon state forest. i think ive been there many moons ago…
the forest is beautiful around there. god, i am praying for rain already.
anyway, the directions to Kendalls Camp ground: Follow the Maroondah Highway to Taggerty, turn right onto Taggerty-Thornton Rd and turn right again onto Rubicon Rd for approximately 5km to Kendalls campground.
NOTE, this isnt where were staying, this is the start point for the rally on sunday!!
they reckon they will squeeze all the cars in. i think it might be wise to park just up the road a little and ride in maybe.

yeah i know, a shit stack
it would peak 138k with the standard gears, 14:50
will now do 144k just with 14:48, and its better on gnarly hills too
and dickhead me, had a brain fade and ordered a 15 front by mistake this week. so its gonna be roughlt equivalent to 14:44 now, should nearly do the ton
i reckon it will be to tall now, ill probly stall it taking off
ADMCC website update…..
KENDA RALLY UPDATE1.
23rd March 010.
8 weeks out from the 2010 Kenda rally and all the preparations and hard work that go into running an event of this magnitude are all starting to come together. Entries are rolling in and our new Direct deposit payment system is doing its thing.
The Start finish area at Kendall’s A campground is usually open through the year for camping and recreation, but on this weekend it will be locked to all but Alexandra district MCC members who will be setting up the event. Space is very limited for parking, so no buses or caravans will be allowed into the site on Sunday morning. We are even asking our own members to “car pool” to give us the maximum room for parking entrants and their vehicles. When you arrive on Sunday morning, follow the directions of our friendly traffic directors and park where directed. It will be a squeeze, but we will be able to fit in all 500 riders-just.
Some of our entrants are asking for details on where they can stay the night before the event and we have listed some Motels and Caravan parks around the start area at Rubicon for those of you that want to make a weekend of it. Unlike a lot of other events, the Alexandra district MCC encourages riders to come back after the ride and explore the Eildon areas many trails and tracks.
As you all know, this area was hit hard by the destructive fires back in 2009 and its only now that riders are able to access these tracks again. As long as riders do the right thing and keep to the tracks that are open, the DSE and Parks Victoria are happy to have responsible trail riders in the Rubicon/Eildon area. There are some fantastic trails in the area and its well worth the effort to come back and have a ride around.
Local business were hit hard by the fires and its well worth spending a few bucks at the Servo/Bottle shop/Take away or Caravan park to keep things ticking over. Tell ‘em your’e riding the Kenda rally course to let them know the “dirt bike dollar” is alive and well in Victoria. This sort of thing pays dividends down the track, when Politicians, both local and State, start getting on their high horse on track closures and the like.
This year, we are not mailing out return forms and numbers to entrants. We will put up an information form on our website 2 weeks before the event with a map to the start area and other instructions to help you make the most of this great day. Rider numbers will be issued on the day at scrutineering. If you have any further questions on the event, please e mail us off our website
