Nice Bike Steve, by all accounts they are a good thing, I am yet to have a ride on one. No one will trust me is half the problem I think!
I really have to stop reading this thread.
Having rode last years, I know what I missed by not being able to attend this years ride. I will be there for the next one though. Looks like you guys had a ball. That is what OBT is good for. Putting a great group of like minded blokes together for an awesome weekend.
Gday Muz,
Welcome to OBT and thanks for the intro. I feel a bit like you, re: the tight snotty single trail. I am way the other side of 40 and ride an XR650 so that would explain that. The big thumpers are a better bike than people give them credit for, I love mine for the more open stuff but I will still give the singles a go every now and then.
Most of our main players are up riding at Coffs this weekend so the forum may seem a bit quiet, but look out when they get back home and online.
Cheers

Dont keep us in suspense!I can imagine how you felt STM, I had the same weather to contend with, at my birthday ride and it turned out better than I thought!
The forecast is for it to clear sometime today, get out there and make the most of it! Have a good ride guys!
With the rain flogging down here, I am really keen to hear how things are going up at Coffs.
Keep up to date on road closures here Boony
How much do you want for the fuel cap? I need a new work bench for the shed!
I had a great day out at the Hastings ride on Saturday. If you are doing nothing on the day, I would recommend joining in on the Newcastle one. You will be more than welcome and you will see some great bikes and be a part of something big and most of all, worthwhile.

Bad to the bone…LOL #212058The missus was just telling the Mother in law about the day and I could tell by what she was saying, that she enjoyed herself more than she thought she would. I bet she will be in it again next year. I think the mother in law was surprised by her daughters” Behaviour”…..LOL
The first photo of us was taken by Connor, the other bigger ones of us riding were taken by a Journalist from work.
They alway can do with cash donations as well as things for older kids, like Sanity gift vouchers or the likes.

I was amazed to see Snowy, of all people there! WE both did the big double take at the same time.
I saw one just like it in Wauchope the other day and I thought to myself they are a great looking bike!
Many Happy returns Axel.
